After days of travel, the band finally neared Mount Oodkurchar. Ava strained her neck, trying to catch a glimpse of the peak, but the mountain's summit remained hidden behind the thick, cotton-like clouds. The sun peeked around the edges of the clouds, casting a deep pink glow that outlined the towering heights. The sheer size of the mountain reminded Ava just how small she was in comparison, and she couldn't help but feel a mix of awe and humility as she took in the breathtaking sight.

Harvan led the group toward the base of the mountain when several Luzka appeared, floating into view. The band halted, and Harvan humbly bowed as the Luzka drew nearer. Ava noticed that their wings were larger than those of the Luzka who had brought the queen's message earlier. These Luzka had feather-like wings that matched the leaves of the trees in the Beli Forest, their colors shifting subtly with the light.

"Allow me to introduce you to some of Queen Austiniel's Knights," Taci said, bowing respectfully as the Luzka approached. "These are the bravest, fastest, and wisest of their kind, and they have been my allies for many years."

The knights gracefully settled on a large boulder near Yaroth and Donamer. The first of them, his voice like a chorus of harmonious singers, addressed Ava. "Ava, it is an honor to meet you. We have awaited your arrival and ask that you grant us the privilege of guiding you to Queen Austiniel."

The Luzka's voice floated through the group like a gentle spring breeze, soothing and melodic. Ava smiled warmly, touched by the kindness in his words. "Thank you," she replied. "I'd be grateful for your guidance."

While Ava spoke with the Luzka, Jarvonus and Lanonir led the Huattons to a safe cave at the base of the mountain. They ensured the creatures had food and water, then carefully covered the entrance to hide them from view, securing their safety. Returning with only the supplies needed for the climb, the group began their ascent together.

The mountain path was narrow and treacherous, carved skillfully into the rocky face but barely wide enough for a single person. Strong winds howled around them as they made their way along the steep cliffs. The climb was difficult, and there were moments when Ava struggled to keep up with the others. Harvan, ever watchful, noticed her fatigue and offered his help.

"Come here, Little Bean," he called down to her in his deep, comforting voice. "I will take your burden."

Without hesitation, he lifted her effortlessly onto his shoulders, where she felt secure and safe, the wind no longer a threat. The Momos clung to Harvan's back, their small forms nestled against his broad shoulders. Whenever Ava felt herself stumbling or struggling to keep pace, Harvan was there, steady and unwavering. She loved the feeling of being carried by him, knowing that in his grasp, she was protected from whatever dangers the mountain might hold.

As they approached the entrance to the queen's mountain palace, Ava's eyes were drawn to the sight of Luzka soaring on a rushing updraft along the far side of the mountain. The delicate creatures rode the air currents with graceful ease, their wings catching the light as they ascended, only to drift back down near the path where the group walked. One of the knights explained that this was one of the simple pleasures the Luzka delighted in, a favorite pastime in the mountain's embrace.

Ava watched in awe, the sight reminding her of leaves being swept up by a gust of wind. The Luzka's laughter filled the air, a sound that struck her as a perfect blend of Christmas bells and angelic voices—a beautiful symphony of joy that echoed around them.

When they reached the entrance to the Luzka caves, Ava was astounded. The Naitseers had carved intricate designs of Luzka and flowers into the mountainsides, a gift of friendship and honor to Queen Austiniel. The walls of the cave sparkled with diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and gold, catching and reflecting light in a way that made the scene appear almost otherworldly. Ava could hardly tear her eyes away from the dazzling walls as the cave opened into a vast, bustling cavern.
