HALLOWEEN WAS SIRIUS black's favourite time, especially with his daughter. The house smelled of freshly carved pumpkins. The fire lit to keep warm as he tried to dress his daughter up. "Come on fox, don't you wanna be a witch" he giggled as she threw the hat onto the floor with a huff.
Matilda black, her brown hair stuck up as she crossed her arms, the one-year-old was already sassy, Sirius knew she got that from him. "come on" she shook her head and began to crawl away. "Moo'y!" she shouted. Sirius was fast on her tail.
Matilda crawled through the small cottage, giggling as she could hear her father becoming closer. "Moo'y, s've m'" the mouse-haired man picked up the small child, shielding her away from Sirius "Oh no, is daddy trying to get you fox?" the brown-haired girl nodded hiding her face in his sweater. "Oh no, what are we going to do, I think we should get Daddy back"
Sirius' eyes widened at Remus' words, his head began to shake, Remus winked at the man. "the big bad wolf and fox are going to get you!" Remus said, he began to chase Sirius, Sirius moved his body and ran around the kitchen. "no, don't get me" he laughed, Remus placed Matilda onto the floor as she moved towards the curly-haired man.
"No" she huffed as he changed, he changed into a black fluffy dog, Matilda's laughs became louder, the dog climbed all over Matilda, licking her face. Remus stood by smiling at the scene. Laughter filled that house, it was perfect. A family of three.
Sirius Black had found his family, one who would love him, for him. Changing back to himself he picked his daughter up and looked at the time, sighing softly he saw it was getting late. "Now little miss, I think it's time you go to Uncle Prongs and Aunt Flower, I think Harry would like to enjoy Halloween with you." Matilda nodded euthanistcly, she enjoyed going to the potters, especially for her best friend.
"Ha'ry," she asked, both men nodded, collecting her items for the night. "Yeah, Harry. You and him are going to have a sleepover as Aunt Flower promised"
The lupin-blacks made their way over, Sirius muttering a funny word into the door handle, Matilda wriggled in Remus' arms trying to get down "Hi, u'cle p'ongs" she said giving the man a hug around his legs, James lowered his body down "hey little fox, how are we this fine evening"
Matilda cocked her head, unsure of the words he had used she said nothing, as James carried her into the house that was very much her own. "Hi, a'nt f'ow'r" The lady gave the girl a small smile as she moved to her husband who held the girl. "he's through there" knowing who she wanted to see. James placed her on the floor as she made her way into the living room.
