A/n Wow. I had imagined this whole chapter like 10 times before i actually got the energy to type it because my willpower (haha Will) has been lacking so bare with me and just know that this was really hard to write but I needed it OUT! :D

The doorbell rang sharp and loud through Annabeth and Percy's apartment.
"I got it," Annabeth said. She jumped up from the couch, where she was trying to help Percy with his science homework, and almost tripped running to open the door. She swung it back to revel her friend, Rachel Elizabeth Dare.
As soon as she and Percy had returned from the concert, Annabeth IM'd Rachel and asked her to go to the concert with her. Rachel agreed so they decided to meet at Annabeth's so they could take her car.
Annabeth smiled and the sight of her friend. Rachel wore a dark green tight dress with a cowl top and she had a few layered small gold chain necklaces. Her ears had different gold studs and little dangly earrings in her multiple piercings. She wore mascara, lip gloss, blush, and sparkle eyeshadow that shone in the light of the apartment's overhead light.
"Hey!" Annabeth greeted.
"Hi," Rachel said, giving a little wave. "I love your skirt!"
Annabeth looked down at her long skirt. It went down to her ankles and had a slit up her left leg. It was a sea blue with white, pink, and purple flowers patterned here and there.
"Thank you, I felt like it went really well with this new top."
The top in question was a plain white, spaghetti strap, tank top with a little lace on the top.
"I was going to ask if it was new!"
"Yeah, I just got it when I went to San Francisco."
"Oh, I heard they have some really good jewelry stores over there."
"They do! I actually got these earrings I'm wearing at the cutest little shop."
Annabeth lifted her freely flowing hair so Rachel could see her diamond shaped silver earrings.
"I have got go there sometime..."
"Close the door!" Percy called from the couch. "Heating is expensive!"
"Focus on your homework Seaweed Brain!" Annabeth called back.
"Hey, Rachel!" Percy called, waving.
"Hi, Percy!" Rachel laughed.
"Perseus...!" Annabeth warned.
"I'm working on it!"
Annabeth rolled her eyes and walked over to her ridiculous boyfriend, "I'll be back in a few hours."
She kissed him and then walked out the door with Rachel following behind her.

The two girls talk and laugh as they caught up on what had been going on the last few months. Rachel told Annabeth about how Connor had wrapped Nico into his pranks (they apparently made a terrifying team), that the Nike kids and Athena kids are having a bit of a feud (not very surprising), and Camp Jupitar showed up for a capture the flag game (she left out who one though). And Annabeth shared stories about school, like how a girl from her Ancient Architecture class asked her out, and how Percy went to the zoo and almost exploded the fish cage because they were apparently calling him Shark Boy.
