The closer she got to Asa, the harder it became for Chiquita to keep her feelings in check. She had started this game as a way to win Ahyeon's heart, but somewhere along the way, she had begun to care about Asa in a way she hadn't anticipated. Asa was kind, innocent, and full of life, despite the pressure of being an outsider in a foreign country. Chiquita found herself drawn to her honesty and her vulnerability.

One evening, they sat together on a bench outside the university, the city lights shimmering in the distance. Asa's face was illuminated by the soft glow of a streetlamp, and for the first time, Chiquita saw her not as a challenge, but as someone she might actually like.

"Chiquita," Asa said, breaking the silence, "Why are you being so nice to me? I mean, you don't have to. You have so many other people to hang out with."

Chiquita shifted uncomfortably, her usual confidence faltering for a moment. She knew exactly what she was supposed to say to maintain the game—something flirty, something fun. But when she looked into Asa's eyes, she felt a pang of guilt.

"Well, Asa-chan," Chiquita said slowly, "I guess I just enjoy your company. You're... different. You don't try to impress anyone. You're just you."

Asa smiled shyly, her cheeks turning pink. "I'm glad you think so. I just want to fit in here, you know?"

Chiquita's heart clenched. For a moment, she didn't know what to say. She had wanted to make Asa fall for her, but now... now she wasn't so sure. The plan seemed trivial, and the stakes felt too high. But there was no turning back.

Chiquita squeezed Asa's hand lightly, her voice soft. "You'll fit in. With me around, I'll make sure you never feel out of place."

But even as she said it, Chiquita felt a sinking feeling in her chest, knowing that the game she was playing was about to hurt the one person who had trusted her the most.

And now, she was starting to realize the truth: the hardest part wouldn't be making Asa fall for her. It would be breaking her heart.
