My Only Love

Prologue

Valentina is a diagnosed psychopath. She has killed many people, and animals, ruthlessly, with no second thought. Her only sworn enemy, though, is named Myra. This isn't directly her fault though, Myra and Valentina's mothers have put them against each other since they were born. Valentina, though, has always hated her mother, because she never had a real childhood. So, she defied her mother in the worst way possible. Up until 7, Valentina and Myra were secretly friends. Valentina had developed a crush- or an unhealthy obsession with Myra. She would have to pretend to dislike her infront of their mothers, but Valentina secretly wanted Myra all to herself.
Due to being in the same district, they practically grew up together. In middle school, when Myra had gotten her first boyfriend, Valentina was LIVID. All she could think about was...murder. She had quickly thought up a plan to kill Myra's boyfriend, and did just that. She threw him into the river, and when he was pronounced missing, all she could do was triumphantly smile, knowing that she had done her job.
They are at different levels, or should I say mafias. Valentina was a very known girl, in fact, her father was the most feared man in the state. Valentina belongs to the Cascarino Mafia, a well known cartel, for showing no mercy to their victims - all of the victims only being distinguished by the one detail they leave behind, a red ribbon around their thumbs. Myra's mafia, the Valkyrie Mafia, or Clan, is a little less known, and has a more discreet mafia, with street gangs on almost every corner. Myra's family is fighting for control with Val's for the state of California. This means they have to go on secret missions in the state, and they often run into each other. Including, spying on eachother.
