It's been a month since Lisa kissed Jennie for the first time. Jennie had lost count of how many times they had made out—in her living room, on the kitchen island, on the floor, and at Lisa's apartment. But they'd never made it to the bedroom. Lisa always stopped things before they escalated, and that frustrated Jennie to no end. She was having a hard time understanding what the tall girl was feeling. She knew, for a fact, that Lisa liked making out and being with her, but there was something holding her back.
Sigh, my head is going to explode if I keep thinking about this, Jennie muttered to herself as she stirred dinner.
Lisa was pacing in her apartment. She had promised Jennie she would come over for dinner, but she was scared. The chemistry between them was magnetic. The moment they were together, it felt like an explosion of sexual energy that neither of them could control. Lisa needed to rein it in before things went too far. She liked Jennie. A lot. But she didn't know where they stood in terms of a relationship. She wanted to date Jennie. Wanted to show her off. But she still couldn't believe she was falling for a girl. It felt so right, though—like it had always been meant to be. Not that gender was ever an issue for me, she thought. Sighing, she checked the time and headed next door.
When Jennie heard the knock on her door, she knew it was Lisa—after all, they had planned this "date." Was it a date though? Jennie thought, feeling a little dazed by the uncertainty. She opened the door absentmindedly and gasped when she saw Lisa standing there with a rose in her hand. She looked hot and beautiful in her leather jacket and jeans.
"Umm, this is for you," Lisa said, holding the rose out toward Jennie, blushing and shuffling her feet nervously.
Jennie couldn't help but giggle as she accepted the flower, pulling Lisa inside by the hand. She pressed Lisa against the door and kissed her, standing on tiptoe to reach her lips. Their usual kisses were always heated and filled with desire, but this one was slow, soft, and sensual—it felt... more.
Jennie pulled back, but Lisa chased after her lips, pulling her into another slow yet deep kiss that made Jennie moan.
"Stop it, Lis. We need to eat... first," Jennie whispered, still kissing Lisa back.
"In a minute, Nini," Lisa whispered, calling her by the cute nickname she had started using. Jennie felt a rush of warmth hearing it. Lisa pulled back and rested her forehead against Jennie's.
"Jennie?"
"Hmmm?"
"Go out with me?" Lisa whispered softly.
Jennie looked up into Lisa's eyes, seeing nothing but sincerity and a hint of nervousness. God, this girl is just too much, Jennie thought, her heart racing.
"Okay," Jennie replied, her face breaking into a big gummy smile.
"Really?" Lisa asked, her own toothy grin spreading across her face as she held Jennie at the waist.
"Yes, really," Jennie laughed, hugging Lisa tightly.
"Come on, I'm hungry. Let's eat," Jennie said, pulling Lisa toward the kitchen.
They sat at the kitchen island, enjoying their dinner, talking about random things.
"I bet your parents always had a hard time controlling you," Jennie said, laughing, but she didn't notice that Lisa had gone quiet, avoiding eye contact.
"I wish," Lisa whispered. Jennie's smile faded as she noticed how down Lisa seemed. She had never seen her so quiet, so distant. It was like a completely different Lisa.
"Hey, Lili, are you okay?" Jennie asked, concern filling her voice. Lisa looked up, meeting Jennie's worried eyes. She took Jennie's hand, holding it over the counter, and sighed.
"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just a sore topic for me," Lisa said, her expression neutral, masking whatever she was feeling.
"You know I'm here if you want to talk about it," Jennie offered, her voice soft, smiling reassuringly. Lisa smiled back, feeling comforted by Jennie's support. She squeezed Jennie's hand before letting go, changing the subject.
"Did you hear back from any of the companies?" Lisa asked, sensing Jennie's concern and wanting to shift the focus.
"Actually, I have an interview the day after tomorrow at YG Corporate," Jennie said as she began gathering their empty plates and walking toward the sink.
Lisa walked up behind Jennie and back-hugged her, making Jennie gasp and drop the plate back into the sink. She braced herself on the kitchen counter as Lisa leaned heavily against her.
"I'm pretty sure you're going to get the job, Jen," Lisa whispered into Jennie's ear, making Jennie feel a wave of heat rush through her. Goosebumps broke out on her arms and neck. Jennie turned around to face Lisa, resting a hand on her waist, feeling her heart race from the close proximity.
"So, after your interview, are you doing anything?" Lisa softly asked, bending down to nuzzle Jennie's neck. Jennie gulped and tilted her head to the side to give Lisa better access to her neck and jaw.
"Ah... no, I'm not doing anything," Jennie whispered, barely able to speak. Lisa moved her hands over Jennie's back, pressing her body flush against Jennie's as she dropped soft, feather-light kisses along Jennie's jaw, neck, and collarbone. Jennie moaned softly, her breath quickening.
"Meet me outside our apartment at 4 p.m.," Lisa whispered in Jennie's ear, making Jennie moan softly in response and nod her head. Having teased Jennie enough for now, Lisa moved her lips closer to Jennie's, their breaths mingling. Jennie couldn't take it anymore; she closed the gap between them, pressing her lips to Lisa's, and their kiss deepened. The kiss they shared at the door had been soft and sensual, but this one was different—raw, needy. Their lips clashed, teeth knocking together as they bit at each other's lips. Moans escaped them as they pressed up against each other, hands roaming, mapping each other's bodies. Lisa picked Jennie up by the waist, and Jennie instinctively wrapped her legs around Lisa's waist, not breaking their kiss. Lisa gently set Jennie on the kitchen island, continuing to devour her lips.
I hope this night never ends, they both thought at the same time
