Wanderer'

Nahida called to her right hand. Ever since she sent him to Irminsul they have a link between each other that helps them communicate from long distances. With the power she has as an Archon she could do it with anyone but her strongest link she has is Wanderer's.

'What is it now Buer?' replied the raven haired with his normal sarcastic, sometimes monotone tone of voice.

'I told you to just call me Nahida' the shorter one gives a small sigh along with her response.

'...right' he simply rolls his eyes at her. 'So what do you need me for anyways?' Nahida's face lights up with joy and shines her child(e) like smile.

"Well" stating out loud "could you possibly go do the shopping- but before you reject I-"

"I'll do it" the former fatui harbinger cuts Nahida off

"Wait really?!" her green shimming eyes scanning the wanderer in front of her "may I ask why?"

Wanderer just scoffed "i'm your prisoner y'know? or did the great god of wisdom forget" Hat guy added sarcastically.

Nahida stared at him with a serious face then she cleared her throat "you do know that you're not really a prisoner" she then looked at the side "i know how it feels to be trapped and I wouldn't want to force that on anyone I care for so please think of it...." she paused "like a home" her face lighting up again "you may come and go...but just remember to always check up with me" Nahida adds the last part a little more softly than the rest.

Wanderer just looked at her with his usual dead eyes but this time you could say it was showing a hint of sadness. "No...that shouldn't be right, not what i've done in the past"

"I still personally think that you feeling guilt is punishment enough" the small archons pesters on

rolling his eyes in response "whatever i'm not doing this argument anyways"

"Okay then! here's the things we need'' she then hands him a paper with messy green crayon

"Le-Nahida you do know that we don't need to eat?" he looks at the paper with uncertainty

"yes, but sometimes it's the things you want, not just the things you need"

"Okay I guess I'll go get you...um seriously? Nahida do you really need another batch of candied Ajilenakh nuts?" Hat guy gives her a look while Nahida's smile only grows

"it's what i just said 'sometimes it's about-" "the things we want instead of what we need for something like that there's no need to repeat yourself" Hat guy frowns with his reply

"Well I will gladly remind you as many times as I need to" lesser lord kusanil counters with tenderness and care for her pupil.

Wanderer lets out a sigh "whatever... I guess I'll be off now "

"Be safe now!" Nahida yells out as he walks away

"I'm not a little kid Buer!" he then flips her off in which Nahida chuckles.

Deep down she knows this is how Wanderer shows he cares in his way even if it's a bit more eccentric than others...just a little.

Wanderer continues on his way to the local Sumeru market. He's been here a couple times before and after he erased everyone's memories including his.

He still hates how busy the market can get even during a simple weekday. If it's this bad on a weekday, then he doesn't want to comprehend about stepping into the streets on a weekend.

He reluctantly stepped into the bustling streets and made his way to one of the vendors. On his way there he has been mentally preparing himself to face the ear-piercing shouts of the vendors.

Even worse with his slightly enhanced senses as a puppet.

Might as well pray on the Shogun's and Dottore's downfall for the 10th time that week.

It has some perks like he would never have to wear glasses, he could hide away from pestering students from the Akademiya (half the time) when he hears them, and so on but there just seems there's more cons than pros.

Hat Guy grumbled under his breath while he walked up to one of the vendors selling fruit and nuts. He tries to politely ask for what he needs from his list, trying to keep the irritation out of his voice.

Stumbling a bit on his words trying to read the messy green crayon writing. The fact that he knows that Nahida has legible handwriting since he's seen the official documents she writes, makes him question how occupied she's at the moment.

He's pretty sure his archon can handle it, she always does...somehow

Wanderer gets most of the things he needs which is a win for him. He does not want to be here any longer than necessary so he decided to pick up his pace which was his first mistake.
