The loudest alarm clock ever woke me up from my doze, reminding me to get up and be ready for school. I sauntered to the bathroom and did my thing. I grabbed my toothbrush and squirt a generous amount of toothpaste above the bristles and shove it in my mouth. I hummed the song "Beautiful Soul" happily as the minty foam drips from my mouth. Honestly, that song holds a special place in ny heart. It is the song Russel sung for me when he was still my suitor before, and up until now he sings it everytime, whenever I get sad.

I rinsed my mouth until no foam was visible, then I turned the shower on. I undressed and get myself wet with the lukewarm water cascading on my bare body. I soaked my skin with the milky body wash and I did the same in my hair with my strawberry-flavored shampoo. I rinsed the lather off and applied hair conditioner. After a minute, I rinsed again and dried myself with my favourite yellow towel Russel gave me. I used it to cover my torso down to my thighs. I smiled by the fresh feeling and stepped out of the bathroom. My eyes bulged out of its socket, my heart on my throat when I saw Russel standing close to the edge of my bed, he's back facing me. I was expecting he'll be here at seven to pick me up like he used to before heading to work. I cleared my throat as he turns around. He was taken aback and shocked as well, when he saw me only in towel. I'm not wearing anything behind it, just a towel.

He scratched the back of his neck, embarassed. "Oh, I-I'm so-sorry. I'll go outside," he stutters.

"Oh, it's okay, you can stay here. I can get some clothes and change in the bathroom." It's our wash day today so we can wear anything we want in school.

He nodded and I walked past him to my closet. I grabbed undies, navy blue skinny jeans and a green top, then paced back to the bathroom when Russel called me. "Wait."

I tilted my head, facing him. Before I could push the door open, I felt his hands on my waist as his eyes glued with mine, sending tingles down to my knees. In just a split second, he crashed his lips to mine. I can sense the heat and need in his lips, molding with mine. He pulled away, gasping for air. Me too, that was breath-taking though.

"Get changed, babe. You're late," he chuckled.

My eyes grew wide as I glanced at the wall clock. My conscience slaps me before my inner self does. How long did we kiss?

"Why didn't you told me?"

He shrugged his arms like he did nothing. I glared at him. "I hate you."

"No, babe. You don't," he flashed his toothy grin at me. Ugh, he's so cute and yeah, he's right. I can't hate him. "I love you," he said sweetly.

"I love you too, Rus," I replied lovingly at him.

I'm a hundred percent ready for school. Russel took me a ride in his Porsche on the way to school. We sang crazily with the tunes blaring on the stereo like we don't care about the irony of the world. After the thirty-minute drive, we climbed out of the car and stood in front of it. He glued his eyes with mine as he leans in and kissed me. It was short but a lingering one.

"Bye, Casey," he muttered, love evident in his eyes.

I smiled at him. "Bye, Rus. Take care."

He smiled and hopped in to his Porsche, turned the ignition on and drives his way to the office. I watched until his car disappeared from my vision.

As I keep on pacing towards my next class, I'm having a strange feeling that I can't explain and it makes me wonder why. I ignored it as possible as I can then headed to my first class. The majority of the class stared at me like I'm an alien invading their world but to my luck, I wasn't the last one to attend the subject since there were still five bare seats at the back. I sat at the middle and brought my notebook and pen.
