A large dock filled with submarines everywhere and people bustling around like a giant ant farm that was just attacked. Y/N was confused as fuck. They stood in the middle, frozen cuz like jesus what is happening holy shit. Eventually, though they were brought to a group of 3 other people wearing the same ugly ass boring ass diving gear. "You four will go on an expedition together. Get in the submarine, you'll understand what you're doing soon enough. You did read the contract right?" And without another word, everyone was shuffled into the submarine. Shit, I did not in fact read the goddamn contract. Oops. The other 3 people also looked worried. "Did you guys not read the contract?" They all looked at Y/N with strange expressions. "Of course, we read the contract, why do you think we're worried?" Suddenly their faces became concerned. "Are you saying you just signed it without even reading it..?" Y/N nodded with a small grin. "You're an idiot" That made Y/N frown. I do not like this guy nuh uh.
The submarine had stopped moving and the door opened up like a bridge, causing everyone to scurry over to land. They had introduced themselves to each other during the oh-so-fun ride. The tall guy was named Carl, the short girl was Maurice, and the last guy's name was Jim Bob Jr. the eighty-seventh. He said to call him Bill.
The PA overhead started to go off, "Yall remember what to do right? Get the crystal and get outta there. Good luck." Wow so helpful. "So what the hell is the crystal?" "Actually... we don't know either," Maurice answered Y/N's question. Well, shit. "So then what are we supposed to do here? You guys are the experts and also the psychopaths who read contracts and terms of services." The group looked tired of Y/N's shit. "Just collect any loose documents or items and get the crystal. It's not that hard," Bill answered with a bit of a sheepish tone for some unknown reason idk.
Before the conversation could continue, there was a strange beep sound and we all turned around to see, "CARL?" Carl was opening a door with a keycard and disappeared. "What's with that guy-" Before Y/N could ask anything the other two ran off to the door. Just ignore me I guess... Y/N ran after them as well, before the lights flickered.
