🫨 Kenzye Berkshire's POV 🫨
I'm deaf and that's means I can't hear anything. I was frustrated right now because no one is listening to me. I tapped Enzo and he turned to me. "I need help with this. I don't understand the assignment." I signed to Enzo. "I can't help either. I don't understand it." Enzo signed. I sighed and laid my head on the desk. Someone tapped my shoulder it was Pansy. I smiled. "I can help you." She signed. "Okay." I signed back. She smiled and wrote something down in her book. She ripped the paper and handed me. 'Meet be during free period. In my dorm.' The note said. I nodded and smiled. "Hey beautiful." Theodore signed. "Hey Theo." I signed. "How's my little lady?" Theodore signed. "Could be better." I signed. "Yeah, I understand that." Theodore signed. I chuckled and punched his arm. "You have a pretty laugh. I wish you could hear it." Theodore signed. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"What are you guys doing with your hands? I don't understand." I said. "We sign to Kenzye Berkshire. So she understands the homework and class work. You should learn it too. It's pretty fun signing the naughty words as Kenzye calls them." Enzo said. "Teach me to sign hello." I said. Enzo showed the hand movement. I thanked him and went over to tap Kenzye on the shoulder. She has such a beautiful laugh. I tapped her on the shoulder. "Hello." I signed. She did hand movements. "She just asked you know sign language. I'll tell her no." Theodore said. He signed to her and she frowned and threw her hands angrily and us. "You pissed her off. I can't make her stop." Theodore said while signing. "Tell her I'm sorry." I said. She nodded to me and she went back to her work. "So why do you guys sign to her? She didn't have interpreter?" I asked. "No, it's too expensive and to find a wizard to sign to near to impossible. My family and I been signing since she was little. The group learned from me for a month." Enzo said, still doing hand movements. "Did you just sign all of that even though she not looking?" I asked. "It's a habit now. I'm so used to it I don't even notice most of the time." Enzo said. "Oh. Can you teach me?" I asked. "Yeah, I can teach you." Enzo said. "Thanks man." I said. "Anytime." Enzo said.

🫨 Kenzye Berkshire's POV 🫨
It's been a couple of months of school and I was getting the hang of it. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I punched. "I'm so sorry." I signed. "It's okay." Mattheo signed. "Wait you sign now?" I signed. "Yeah, I learned for you." He signed, sitting next to me. "Oh that's so nice of you. I'm very sorry for punching you. I have to protect myself somehow." I signed. "It's cool. I can take a beating. Oh and I can sign naughty words." Mattheo signed. "Sign those and I'll close my eyes. Ask Theodore what happened when he did that." I signed. "What happened?" Mattheo signed. "I ignored him for two months. When he tried to sign to me I closed my eyes." I said. "Two months? That's dedication." Mattheo signed. "I know, so don't use them." I signed. "Noted. Why are you in the corner of the library?" Mattheo signed carefully, it was very cute. "I made nosies and everyone doesn't like them. I can't hear them so I always put myself in the corner." I signed. "Your noises are cute. They are just rude." Mattheo signed. I smiled and playfully pushed him. I saw him laugh. "You look very handsome when you laugh. I imagine it's very manly." I signed. "Manly?" He signed. "I don't know it just looked like it." I signed. "Wanna hit the hay?" Mattheo signed. "What's the time?" I signed. "Um jerkoff 30." He signed. "Huh? Come again." I signed. "12:30." Mattheo signed. "You might want to not say jerkoff ever again. Your 12:30 and jerkoff look the same." I signed. "I'm sorry. That's totally not what I wanted to sign. Please don't close your eyes." Mattheo signed. "That's strike one." I said. "Noted." He signed with a chuckle. "Let's hit the hay." I signed.

We have been in the boys dorm for a few hours and I was getting tired. "Enzo, I'm sleeping in the same bed as you." I signed to Enzo. He opened his blanket and I quickly walked over to get in. "How are they siblings? Aren't siblings supposed to fight?" Mattheo signed. "We don't fight. It's useless for us anyways. I can shut my eyes and ignore. I'm going to bed. Don't make a sound." I signed jokingly. "You can't hear. We can make noise." Mattheo said. "It's a joke." I signed, before settling into Enzo's bed. Enzo wrapped his arms around me and I fell asleep. I know you're like that's weird for siblings to cuddle but we are part Italian, it's in our nature.

I felt someone pushing on me and I opened my eyes. "What?" I signed. "It's time to get up." It was Enzo. I rolled over and Enzo kept pushing me. "I'm up, I'm up." I signed.

😒 Mattheo Riddle's POV 😒
Enzo woke Kenzye up and she wasn't very happy about it. "Okay go get dressed and we'll go to Hogsmeade." I signed to her. "Turn around. I don't have pants on." Kenzye signed. "Naughty girl." I signed. She giggled and we all turned around.
We saw her leave the dorm and we started getting ready. "We didn't tell her when we were leaving." I said. "She comes to us. She doesn't take that long. Maybe half an hour." Theodore said. "Oh that would make sense since she can't hear us knock." I said. "Yeah." Enzo said.

"Oh you look pretty." I signed to Kenzye. "Thank you." She signed. I smiled and she did too. "Stop flirting with my sister." Enzo said. Obviously Kenzye didn't hear that. "I wasn't flirting." I said, I was.

Kenzye was happy and taking lots of pictures. I took her phone and took a picture with Theodore and I. She was shocked. "We look good." Theodore signed to Kenzye. She rolled her eyes and I handed her phone back. She put it in her bra and she signed to us. "How dare you take my phone? You have no right. Never do it again. I might hurt you." Kenzye signed. I chuckled and pulled her close. "We were only taking photos. We weren't going to go through it. We aren't that rude." I signed. She sighed and hugged me. She's never hugged me before. I wrapped my arms around her and she was nuzzling her head into my chest. "She likes you." Theodore said. "Enzo, can I get permission to date your sister?" I asked, swaying us side to side. "Only if you really mean it. And tell her in sign language." Enzo said. It was genuine from him. "Thank you." I said, putting my chin on Kenzye's head. Kenzye pulled away and smiled. "I'm cold." Kenzye signed. "Here." I signed and gave her my jacket. She put it on and thanked me. "I'm going to the candy shop. Enzo can I have the card?" Kenzye signed. I shook my head at him. I pulled my wallet out and put my wallet in Kenzye hand. She snapped her head at me. She raisers her eyebrow and was confused. She put my wallet in her pocket and signed. "Why are you giving me your wallet?" Kenzye signed. "But everything you want." I signed. "I won't do that. I'm not rude." Kenzye signed. "Go buy everything you want. I want you too." I signed. "Okay." She signed.

We watched Kenzye closely in stores. She doesn't know thy she makes cute noises when she gets excited when she finds something. "Ugh, can she be anymore annoying." A girl said. "She not annoying. She's excited. Have you never been excited?" I asked.
All the boys held candy bags for Kenzye. She was happy and that's all I cared about. "Thank you Mattheo." Kenzye signed when we put the bags down in her dorm. "Anytime." I signed with a big smile. "Can I ask you something?" Kenzye signed. "You just did. I'm just joking go ahead." I signed. "I want to go on a date with you. You make me happy." Kenzye signed. I smiled and nodded. "I'd love that." I signed.
