🌪️ Kenzye Avery's POV 🌪️
Christmas is right around the corner at Hogwarts and our group decided to stay at Hogwarts this year. I was happy, I have planned out the entire morning for Christmas. I have all my gifts wrapped and ready to go. I'm so excited. "Hey." Mattheo said, walking into my dorm. "Matty, I'm changing." I said. I covered myself with the dress I was going to wear today. "Oh I'm sorry." Mattheo said, covering his eyes and turning away from me. I put on my dress as I already have my tights on. I smoothed my dress and hair. "Okay, you can look." I said. "Okay, wow that dress is really pretty on you." Mattheo said. "Thank you." I said with a smile so wide, that it hurts. I put on my shoes and grabbed my purse. We are headed to Hogsmeade. Someone forgot to buy presents, not saying any names but his name starts with M, and ends in Attheo. "I heard that." Mattheo said. "I didn't say anything. Oh you jerk, stop getting into my head without permission." I said. He chuckled and slightly pushed me. I pushed back but he was too firm. I almost fell back and he caught me. "Stop falling around me. I'll start thinking you are falling for me." Mattheo said with a chuckle. I chuckled trying to hide the fact that I have fallen for him, but he's my best friend.

I was studying in my dorm and Mattheo was 'helping' me. "So Kenzye, what's your type?" Mattheo asked. "Brown hair, brown eyes and loves to smoke." I said. "Oh cool." He said. I nodded and left my desk to go use the bathroom. "Wait, what?" He said, quickly coming with me. "Hey, you can't come in here with me." I said. "Your type is me?" He asked. "Maybe. But I need to pee so can I have some space?" I said. Mattheo stepped back and I closed the door.
I was back studying but he was basically breathing down my neck. "You alright? You seem distracted." Mattheo said. "Yeah, I think you're hot." I said, looking up at him. It was a joke. Mattheo kisses me hard, almost in desperation. I kissed back and smiled. He pulled me onto his lap and I wrapped my arms around his neck. I pulled away and my eyes almost bugged out of my head. "What did we just do?" I said, I quickly got off his lap. "Kiss. What's wrong with that?" Mattheo said. "I can't. Pansy dated you. I can't date you, it's girl code not to kiss your friend's ex." I said, stressed out. I was pacing around my room. "It'll be fine. It was one kiss." Mattheo said. "It's not just one kiss. Because I have loved you for years. When we were 7, I fell for your stupid charm." I said. "You're in love with me?" Mattheo said. "Yes, but that's not the point. I have to tell Pansy." I said, I left my dorm. I quickly went to Pansy's dorm and knocked on it. "Come in." Pansy said. "I have to tell you something, and I don't know how you're going to take it." I said. "What happened?" Pansy asked. "I kissed Mattheo." I said. "Okay. Is that all?" She asked. "But girl code." I said. "Girl code doesn't mean anything for Mattheo. I dated him for a week. Girl, kiss your man. Have fun." She said. "You're not mad?" I said. "Hell no. You've liked him your whole life. Go!" She said, shooing me out her dorm. "Okay." I said. I went to my dorm and Mattheo was holding his head down. I could tell he was confused and frustrated. "Matty?" I said. He looked up and he was crying. My heart broke. I walked to him quickly and sat on my knees. I held his cheek and I frowned. "Why you crying, Matty?" I asked. "I messed up our friendship by kissing you. I'm so sor-." Mattheo was saying but I pushed my lips against his. He kissed back and pulled away. "Why you kissing me? The girl code?" Mattheo said, staring into my eyes. "She approved of us. Girl code is good." I said, smiling. He laughed and kissed me again.
