Uncomfortable?

Next morning, in the dining table,

Adarsh- Yeh dono abhi tak nahi uthe, school ke liye late hojayega. Veer go and wake them up.

"Nahi badepapa, sone do inhe. Kal bahot padhayi ki hai unhone. Exams are coming let them sleep now, warna school se aakar phir so jayege, exam arhe hai, they need to study." Karan said

"Let them sleep, Karan ne jo dose Diya hoga kal woh bhari padh Gaya hoga" Veer said and all of them chuckled.

Ravi- Karan mere bacho ko phirse mara toh nahi na tumne
He asked trying to act firm

Karan- Papa kuch nahi padha hai saal bhar undono ne, plus exams ki baat chupayi unhone isiliye

Bhavna- Karan, acha kiya tumne. They deserved it. Saal bhar nahi padhna, last moment kholo books now face the consequences.

Veer- Aarav, Pihu after finishing your food, get ur bags and come downstairs quickly I'll drop y'all to clg. Aaj thoda kaam h mujhe office mein toh Pihu please late mat karna.

Pihu- iss gadhe ko bhi bolo, mein thodi late karti hu

Aarav - Oh please sabko pata hai how long you take to get ready.
He said as he rolled his eyes

Karan was ignoring Aarav, he didn't glanced at him throughout, aarav did notice the behaviour change but didn't reacted.

"Dono bakwas band karo and finish your food quickly" Veer said.

"Oye, tujhe kya hua" Avinash asked slowly to Karan
"Han? Kuch nahi, I'm good" Karan said and Avinash knew something was off, he made a mental note to ask him later.

After finishing the food, everyone continued they're respective chores.

Veer decided to go check on aarav,
"Aarav" he called gently
He turned back struggling to wear the tie, everyday Karan helps him out but today he didn't.

Veer casually went and started to help him
"Kab bada hoga" he said smiling

"Isme badi hone wali kya baat hai, apke chote bhai ne bigad rakha hai mujhe. Kuch sikhne karne nahi dete" Aarav said.

"Kuch hua hai Aarav? And tell me, why Karan didn't did this today?" He asked calmly

"Kuch nahi hua, he might be busy today" he said not wanting to repeat what actually happened.

Veer didn't interrogated more, he didn't wanted to interfere.
Veer bent down to tie Aarav's shoelaces, noticing that Aarav hadn't tied it properly.

"Thik hai, go call Pihu and come down" he said patting his head lovingly and left.

On reaching Pihu's room
"Pihu chal, bhaiyu is calling.."

"Han bas ek sec, backpack karlu" Pihu said and he remained silent.

"Let's go" Pihu said and Aarav stood up to leave.

"Arre han ek sec, Mera moneypurse Lena bhul gyi wait" she said.

After descending the stairs
"Arre yaar, mera lipgloss" she said and ran to get it.

Aarav didn't said anything. He was very silent today.
She came down and they left for college.

Throughout the ride, Aarav remained silent. Didn't even said a word, only answered whatever Veer or Pihu asked him.

Pihu noticed something was not right.
After reaching the college, she decided to check on him.

When she got out of the car, she noticed a man standing there looking at her continuously. He was the same man standing from few days as if waiting for her. She thought she is overthinking and ignored.
