Zainab was keeping all the things in cupboard and arranging things when Nadia comes and says

"Beta Aaj tum ahad ke saath nahi gayi firm"when zainab replies

"Ji ammi aaj mera off hai aur ahad sir bhi jaldi aa jayenge"she says when Nadia nods

She admires her daughter in law who was working when zainab asked

"Kya hua mama aap aise kyo dekh rahi hai"when Nadia replies

"Yahi soch rahi hu ki tum dono ke bacche tum dono mai se kiss par jayenge"making zainab halt her work she felt guilty looking at nadia who was speaking

"Tumhe pata hai zainab meri humesha se khwaish thi ki mai apne bete ki shaadi Dhoom dham se karu , par voh ho nahi paya lekin mai khush ki tum meri Bahu bann ke aayi lekin jab mere pota poti aayenge na toh unki naming ceremony bohot grandly rakhenge"she says excitedly.

"Tum pata hai mai na apne pota poti ko neeche tak nahi chodungi , maine toh abhi sab soch ke rakh liya hai ki mai apne ahad ke baccho ko bilkul apne seene ke paas rakh kar palungi"Nadia says innocently making zainab fall into more and more guilt.

How nadia the only person who genuinely accepted her but she is lying to her , she knows that when she will get to know the truth she will hate her

"Jaldi se jaldi mujhe ek chota sa pota ya poti Dena"Nadia says while caressing her hair while zainab nods meekly not able to reply.

"Mai niche hu beta tum jab ahad aa jaye toh usse leke aa jana khana rakh Rahi hu"she says moving out.

Leaving a dejected zainab there.

While ahad enters to see a gloomy zainab sitting he frowns and move towards her and slowly bends down and crouches holding her hand while she is sitting on bed

"Sir aap aagaye , aap neeche kyo baith Rahe hai ha upar baithena"she says panicking when he replies

"Kucch nahi hota tum baitho upar hi , ab batao baat kya hai"he askswhile caressing her hand when she frowns

"Kya bol rahe hai sir"she asks in confusion
"Hua kya hai zainab aise kyo baithi ho kyo itni udaas lag rahi ho"he says when she says

"Humari shaadi uske baare mai"when she says he frowns

"Humari shaadi ke baare mai kya zainab "he asks when she replies

"Humara contract"she says with difficulty when he replies

"Dekho zainab humara contract marriage hua hai yein tumhe ya mujhe chhod kar kisi ko nahi pata to tum uss baat ki kyo tension le rahi ho "he says when she replies

"Sir mujhe bilkul accha nahi lagta jab mai mama se jhooth bol to ho aapko nahi pata aaj unhone apne pota poti ko dekhne ki aas jatayi mere paas "she says feeling a guilt her heart , she was very innocent girl but today she felt like betrayed nadia

"Voh toh jaldi hi ho jayenge begum "he thinks smilingly when a glass shattering sound snaps them back from their world they look at the door to see a shocked nadia standing with pain

"Mama "she whispers getting up when ahad also immediately get's up being shocked.

"Ammi"saying ahad moves towards nadia who shows her hand and says

"Bas beta mujhe bewakoof bana ke maza aaya dono ko"she asks sarcastically when tears from her eyes could not stop

"Ammi aap.."ahad was cut off by a loud slap by nadia making zainab immediately cover her mother in shock

While she says
"Tum itna bada jhooth kaise bol sakte ho ha?"she asks

"Aur tum "she says looking at zainab , Nadia felt betrayed she showed so much love and concern towards zainab but she broke her heart

"Ammi please iss mai zainab ki koi galti nahi hai"he was again cut off by nadia
"Chhup raho tum ahad bilkul munh mat kholo"she says and again looks at zainab and says

"Tumhe pata hai zainab kitni muhabbat dikhaiy maine tumhe kitni badi jagah tumhe apne dil mai , apni bahu nahi beti samjh rakha hai maine tumhe , tumhari aankho se aati aasuen mujhe chubti hai , chubti hai ki meri beti to rahi hai"she says with tears cascading her cheeks

"Tumhe jab kisi ne iss ghar mai nahi apnaya mai sab se lad padi tumhare liye, apni maa saman saas se bhi , lekin tum , tumne toh sirf dhokha diya , peeth piche baar kiya zainab , peeth piche "she says but zainab couldn't control her sobs she was feeling so guilty at the situation.

"Mama I am sorry"Zainab says when Nadia cuts her saying

"Sorry kya karu ab tumhare ha , beti jaise rakha , kya tumna kabhi bhi mujhe apni samjha ya fir vo bhi dhokha tha"Nadia says feeling betrayed

"Ammi aap.."before ahad could say anything she moves out making zainab fall on ground and sob loudly.

"Zainab"ahad calls her and holds her

"Yahi dekho ammi ka gussa kum ho jayega tum ro mat yaha dekho mai Huna"he says hugging her tightly the most feared thing happened today

Which he never expected but one thing he was clear he would never leave zainab he has to explain to his mother as soon as possible.

"Sir , meri vajah se aapki aur aapki ammi ki...."she says while he smiles thinking even in this situation she is thinking about his mother

"Dekho zainab ammi mere se zyada din gussa nahi rehti rahi baat tumhari to mujhe apni biwi ki aankho se bilkul aansu nahi chahiye"he says feeling ache in his heart looking her tearful face

She nods like a child wiping but her heart was bleeding at the words of nadia which was actually truth she can't deny it , nadia give so much genuine love and care fought for her but she betrayed her so brutally.

She prays her namaz and both go to sleep but nadia's guilt was not letting her sleep she closes her eyes slightly and dozes of when ahad moves towards the couch where she is sleeping and wipes the tear at the side of her eyes and whispers

"Mai sab theek kar dunga meri jaan bas mere saath rehna"he says kissing her forehead feeling peace.

And goes to sleep but zainab after few hours wakes up and goes with her plan , she takes a 🖊️ pen and start writing a letter ✉️ pouring all her emotions , while her tears where continuously flowing

She keeps it near the lamp table and moves towards ahad and says

"Mujhe nahi pata meri manzil kya hai lekin mai jaanti hu ki makaam tak pohenche mai nahi rukungi , aapne mere liye jo kucch bhi kiya uski mai humesha shukar guzar rahungi , Allah aapko ek khubsurat zindagi aata farmaye"she says kissing his forehead the last time.

Slowly taking her clothes she starts packing to move out without disturbing him.

In adnaan's room:

"Begum kya hua hai aapko aise kyo baithi hai aap"adnaan asks corncerned looking at his wife who is sitting in shock neither moving neither speaking or else daily she will share all stories about her daughter in law and what they did.

"Nadia tumhi se baat kar rahi hu"he says again but no change

"Nadia"saying he shakes but again without any emotions she says

"Kucch chahiye aapko "she asks making him frown

"Kya hua hai kyo aisi chup chup ho , jitna mai apni nadia ko janta hu vo apni din bhar ki kahaniya mujhe nahi sunati usse neend nahi aati"he says lightly smiling but nadia thinks

"Kaise baatau adnaan sahab , aapke bete ke baare mai jisne pure parivaar ko dhoke mai rakha hai jiss pe aapko itna fakar tha aur kya batau meri uss bahu ke baare mai jisne mujhe dokha diya , aap toh jaenge kyuki Maine aap sab ke khilaf jaakar uski himayat ki"

But she breaks into sob hugging her husband

"Voh ahad aur zainab"she again sobs in his embrace while he caress and whispers

"Dekho begum vo dono suljhe hue hai bade hai agar dono ki beech ki baat hai toh hum dono ko usme dakhal nahi dena chahiye aur rahi baat aapko pareshaan bhi nahi hona chahiye , aap aaram se soye vo dono apne gile shikwe khud mitalenge"he says making his wife understand and somehow made her sleep

But he frowns again thinking that what had triggered her this much that she cried but he knows that it's somehow related to zainab and ahad.
