Chapter 4: Hurting Inside

Noel's POV

This night is very important to me, i will ask beatty to have our friendship go to the next level.. I've been waiting for this chance for 4 years now and nobody can stop me once our favorite song will be played as i requested and everything that is planned will went well.. then here it goes... our song played i set aside my wine then walked towards to our table where beatty is seated, but i was late i saw her with someone and heading to dance floor I was so mad to myself. Why i was so coward and ì let her waited for me for that long. I should be the one who is dancing with her, but where am I now? Here? Yes, in this cold and lonely room where i rented for us "the gang"to have a celebration after the ball and I prepared more surprises for her with the help of course of my best buddies Dex and JC..

I leave the ballroom as i cannot take it. I don't like what i am seeing she is dancing with her long time crush? And what if the feeling is still there? What will i do now? All my effort will be trashed? I have invested so much time and of course love..oh! yes, at long last i finally admitted to myself i do really love her.

I was so stupid to leave her alone at the table I should be the one. Not him! Argh....I must do something..

So i left for a while to get the flowers in the room to give it to her after the dance. When i came back i heard the big announcement and it was more disappointing... and hated myself more because of what happened...I almost throw the flower to the nearest trashbin. But don't want to be the losser , just wait and see after your joyous moments, then it will be my turn.

I patiently waited for their victory dance to finished then will approach her silently.

After 15 minutes, she is now approaching our table she was escorted by the so called "King" huh! It was supposed me! her only King!

Once she is seated, i slowly go to her side and give her the bouquette of her favorite flowers tulip.. and said "will you be my true queen tonight ? And can i be your true to life King? "

I did not wait for her answer , i asked her to dance with me and she willingly go with me to the dance floor.

She was still in the state of shock! and no words is coming out from her.

"Look my Beatty I am not forcing you to answer me now, but i just want you to know how i feel...and i am hurting inside whenever i saw you with that man of your past. "

She is just looking at me, it's like weighing things and what i have told her by looking directly into my eyes...

This is the first time that beatty look at me this way, then a long sighed i heard from her. But still she is not talking ...

~Beatty's POV

To my surprise, I saw Noel holding my favorite flower and said some words i have wanting to hear from him and told to myself  why? Only now??? Where I started to refresh my old feelings for timothy now my heart is sooo confused.......

I do not want to uttered any words to him i might hurt his feelings , I need more time to process everything that he had just said....

And finally, i had the words to say ...

"Uhm... Noel, I do appreciatte everything you have done for me , you are a very nice person and you know that. If i may request that ............. can you please take me home now? I just felt dizzy and i already have headache of what is happening now and besides it is late already sorry i think i am exhausted ...

I know that He will be disappointed but I am already overwhelmed and i need to be alone.. right now.....and need to think... think.. and I feel butterflies in my stomach i wanted to hide to them what i feels. All i want is to screeeeaaaam in happiness....
Before we head to the door we stopped by Dex and JC still dancing sweetly.

"Hey! Dex, by the way, just enjoy the night with JC and use the room upstairs and have fun! "
Noel suggested to Dex.

"What room? Do you guys have secrets? I asked in confusion.

" well, my bestfriend, since you overheard it...you must come with us don't go home yet please... you can relax and sleep there for a while.. c'mon. Let's go! JC suggested.

I just followed their suggestion.. we went upstairs only to find out what's they prepared for me..

"Surprise!!!!!"
