Part - 43

✨ Mahi pov ~

Seven months later
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

"Mahi, what are you doing?" I turned back only to find my mom standing at the door with a cup.

"Nothing Mumma, just some office work" she sighed and came towards me.

"Girl, you should also take some rest. Working all day is not good for your health." She said as she placed the coffee cup on the table.

"I know Mumma, and I will sleep after  some time. I am an intern so it will take me time to understand everything" I said and she nodded while looking at my sketches.

I thought to join a job with studies. At first maa and papa denied saying first I should complete my university but later they agreed. I have joined a job just one week ago in a Art studio 'Tresure Art Studio' .
It is one of the biggest studio where I wanna work from so long. I left and application and they accepted me seeing my work.

I was working on the sketch while sipping hot coffee from the cup time to time just then i felt mumma hand on my head.

I looked at her and asked "what happened mumma? Do you wanna say something?"

She started stroking my hair and looked at me with but hesitation.

"Um.. Mahi look i am not forcing you or saying anything to you just asking you " she said with hesitated voice and i stood from my chair.

I hold her hand and took her to the bed before making her sit comfortably on it.

I sat on the floor while looking at her. I hold both her hands in mine and started messaging them.

I looked at her and said "you can say whatever you want mumma, I won't say anything cause I know whatever you will say would be for my good only. Just say it, I am listening."

She looked at me for some seconds and then started saying "Ac.. actually I was just thinking that it's been seven  months since you and Abhimanyu got divorced" As she started saying this my grip on her hand loosened a bit but I maintained myself trying my best not to cry as she continued

"So, I was just thinking that you should now think about giving your life a new chance." I looked her in confusion and asked.

"What you wanna say mumma, just say it clearly " she looked at me hesitantly before saying something that made me completely shocked.

"Don't you think Mahi that you should thought about marrying again and giving yourself a chance" my eyes widened and my hand fall down in shock.

I was in too shock to say anything, My eyes filled with tears. Mumma hold my hands in her's and said.

"Look Mahi, I am not forcing you. I am just saying that even Abhimanyu is in a relationship. He don't love you. I know you love him but you can't spend your whole life loving a person who don't even care about you " I can understand what she saying but I can't stop the emotions that are filled in my heart.
