✨ Mahi pov~

I opened my eyes hearing the knock on the door. I looked up and found myself on floor. I think I slept here only while crying.

I got up and went to bathroom to wash my face.

I took a deep breath and went to open the door revealing bhabhi and Ved.

"Bhabhi, what happened?" I asked to bhabhi while looking at Ved face. It looks like he cried but bed cry rarely.

"Nothing Mahi, it just that my mom health is not good. So, i thought to pay her a visit but I can't take Ved with me as his school going on and he already took a lot of leaves from school due to cold in previous days. I know everyone is here but he will stay with you and maa only and maa and dad have to attend a wedding of some close relatives.So, will you please take care of him for some days" Bhabhi requested me and I took picked ved in arms and kissed his cheeks.

I looked at bhabhi and said " it's okay bhabhi, you don't need to request. And I have no problem in taking care of such a cute baby." Bhabhi smiled and looked at Ved and asked him

" Will you stay with me , Mr handsome." Ved smiled and nodded.

"Chachi and Ved gonna do lots of fun" Ved smile grew and be asked me in excitement

"We will eat lots of Maggie , right?" I chuckled on his cuteness and kissed his face before nodding and replied
"Yup!" .

"Yuppyyyy!!! You al the best Chachi" Ved said with glistening eyes and hugged me making me and bhabhi laugh.

"Okay Mahi, I am going now . It's flight time. Bye!. Bye Ved and trouble Chachi with your antics.okay?" Bhabhi asked in a warning tone and ved looked at me and then at bhabhi before replying.

"Okay mumma, now go. Chachi and I need pe...palsornal." I laughed and bhabhi at his cute pronounciation.

Bhabhi hold his nose and corrected him " it's personal ".

Ved pout and said " I know, mumma" .

We all laughed and then bhabhi went after a good bye.

It's been two hours, Ved was playing with me just then i heard door knock sound.

I turned around and looked at maa.

Maa came towards us with a smile and picked ved in her arms and said "Mahi, dinner is ready come and have it. You didn't ate anything since you came back".

I looked at her apologetically and said " soory maa, i didn't even helped you in preparing dinner ".

Maa smiled lightly and placed her hand on my head lovingly before saying "its okay, you should also take rest some time. Now come or else I will have pull your ears for not taking care of yourself.."
