With what little strength left I push it to my shaky legs in order to walk into the main hall where the queen and the king chairs lay, awaiting for my presence, they wore similar expressions everytime they see me.
Disappointment, anger, disgust.

Once I step forward the guards step back, I half bow for respect then stand up straight.
The visible tension of this dead silence eats me out alive, I almost preferred the loud yells and shouts.
They narrowed their gazes on me like some ordinary parents glaring at their troublemaker child, except the ordinary part.

The king motioned the guards something with his hand and in a split second, a magazine was thrown on the ground right before my feet. Beneath me, the title 'The princess just ditched yet another royal prince. Again.' Stared right back at me.

"What's the meaning of this?" The king quietly yet angrily spat at me. "I'm sure it's all fake rumors, am I not right?" The queen hardly hid her distaste in all of this.

It was an easy way out for me. Lie, smile, then walk away. But last time I lied, I remember all the extra hard classes I had to go through due to my punishment.

"I'm afraid that's true." Queen immediately stood up from her chair at my admit. " why do you always bring disgrace to the royal family? Why did you do that?" I regretted telling the truth even though I knew this would happen. I remained quiet, talking any further wouldn't help but rub salt in the already sore faces they were wearing. "tell me why did you do this horrible at the event, now!" it's not my fault if I speak back, would it? "The prince's breath stinks every time he spoke." king rubbed his already knitted Brows While the queen stared at me in disbelief. "This is ridiculous. You're ridiculous" queen shook her head. "Guard, take this princess back to her room lock her up until I give the permissions." She looked at one guard and nodded to me. With an exhale, I stepped out of there feeling their disappointment gazes burning the back of my head. I ignored it like usual.

I saw it coming, luckily, I had some backup plans in my room. But it all went downhill when the guard didn't leave, except stood there right behind my door. It ruined my plan to open the door with my hair clip like I do daily. Mother must've found out about it somehow, bet it was that redheaded maid, who saw me in the garden. I thought I had convinced her with money.

dammit. At least I can do my precious daily swear. "damn you mother, and you maids, damn it all!" I huff on my way to the window. When I opened it, The flower with the weather scent filled my nostrils as I looked at the god-knows-how-much high number down from my room. I'm not this idiot to think the sheets would reach down there, I have don't it enough time for the queen to change my room higher than before. I'm gonna go insane if I am stuck here all locked up with no way out, I haven't even eaten dinner.
