Me playing with the kids on dirt and kicking back the ball was not one of my parent's expectations but here I am, laughing with the children and doing exactly what a princess should not do.

"Thanks for playing with us!" One of the kids said before I waved back a goodbye.
I walk through the crowd, enjoying the people negotiating on specific prizes, some laughing with their family and everyone going through their normal continued cycle routine of the day.
Shot.
An arrow, Yes, an arrow is all it takes for the world to fall from quite peace to chaos, for them to run. All I hear is the screams, cries....war. I let my guard down here just for a second only to blink my view back and look at what it all made to this dear people after only some seconds.

A child is dragging the limp granny to leave the fighting ground, a mother is carrying her children when her chest gets sliced right in front of her very kids eyes. They are all crying out loud from the bottom of their heart and lungs, the black figured men killing every single innocent people on their way. Im still stuck in my shock but I react fast, fast enough to suck out of a charged sword towards me.

Run!

Just run...

That was all I did.

I have sneaked our many times, escaped countless times, so much that now I'm an expert at running and hiding. I stop behind a small bar carrying fruits and knocked them all over the ground so he loses his balance and falls, then I run so fast until I didn't see the view of him anymore.
I run to the side around the corner for a quick breath.
My pants are quick, my heart threatening to rip my lung cage and get out of my chest, feeling my throat dry from running so much, my eyes watery from what I just witnessed. The sound of a buzz climbs its way in to my blanked mind, the noises of screams and swords clashing fades into the background as I glue myself against the wall.

Suddenly, the side of my head burns, feeling like someones eyes are on me. I looked there.
Nothing.
Nothing is there...
I take another long breath and shake this feeling away, of course there'd be someone watching me and I bet they know I'm a princess or maybe I'm just going crazy after seeing some actions that are not normal just moments ago. Then, my legs starts to move fast, walking from shadows to shadows, running unnoticed through the field, hating myself for not doing anything more but running when everyone are clearly suffering,
Women, men, child, teenagers, adults, older people...
Sometimes, there's little one can do when they themselves are weak...
That was what finally gave me the sudden boost of confidence and bravery, i picked a child up and ran with him crying on my arm, loudly. "Shh." I tried to reassure him while I lost another one of those jerks.
"The monster are gonna heat you." I said, that didn't stop his tears, but it did to his voice, his body was shaking against mine as I held him tightly.
