Chapter Two

Morning eventually turned to noon and that meant lunch break. Christian and Doug were sitting with Jane and Evie since Mal, Ben, Jay, and Carlos could be found.

"Hey guys, I made up a new spell last night". Jane whispered. Magic was prohibited in Auradon. But that didn't stop people who had it to not take advantage of it.

"What does it do". Christian said eating two sugar cookies at once.

"Well, If it goes as plan. It can see what people are doing". Jane clapped.

"You mean like, if there not there". Evie questioned.

"Yeah"! Jane answered.

"Is it up and working yet"? Evie said checking Auradon Buzz on her phone.

"Well... I'm still working out some bugs". Jane said, lowering her spirit.

"Well fix it. Doug said waving around his corn dog as he was talking. A spell like that could come in handy one day".

"Anyone check out Auradon Buzz lately"? Evie asked.

"What's on there this time". Christian whined.

"They wished Carlos a happy 16th birthday".

"Oh yeah, I heard he has a twin brother". Doug said finally eating his corn dog.

'That got around fast' Evie thought to herself. But then again, it's not everyday someone finds out they have a twin brother. Eventually, they all finished lunch and went there separate ways. Evie went back to her dorm to find Ben and Mal making out on her bed.

"Cough, Cough". Evie said as she plopped down on her bed.

Then looked up to see a annoyed Blue haired Princess.

"Oh hey Evie. Ben awkwardly said. We weren't doing anything thing"!

"I know, I really do need a boyfriend". Evie looked at the window and for some reason, thought of Chad and Doug.

"You know you don't need a boy, to be happy". Mal said sitting on the edge of Evie's bed.

"I know, but I would like one". Evie sighed.

"Well, who are you interested in"? Ben asked.

"Well, Doug is a really nice person. But Chad is the prince I'm destined to end up with". Evie slumped.

"What do you mean Destined"? Mal asked, a little confused.

"Well, Mom always told me Princesses are supposed to end up with Princes. And that I wasn't supposed to settle for anything less".

"Isn't Doug's Dad like a Sir or something"? Mal asked Ben.

"I can check later". Ben said.

"And whoever you choose, remember that you're choosing. Not your Mom". Mal said as her and Ben left.

Later, Oles was walking when Carlos came up to him.

"What's up Carlos"? Oles greeted.

"Hey, you know about my surprise party too, don't you". Carlos said. It was almost hard for Ben to keep a secret without dropping little hints about it.

Oles tried to act like he knew nothing. But he was a bad lyer.
