Chapter 2

Selena’s POV:

I sat on my bed strumming a couple of notes on my guitar. I loved music; in fact Justin is the reason I play in the first place he gave me guitar lesson’s last summer and I have been playing ever since. I looked down at my hands as the strummed along the wires; I have been thinking a lot about Justin lately I can’t seem to stop thinking about him. I sighed softly I didn’t want to think about him the way I was,  I didn’t want to fall in love with my best friend I mean we are BEST FRIENDS!!! My thoughts were cut off as I heard noise outside of my window sighing with relief as I seen Justin climbing into the window.

“You know we have a front door right?” I laugh as I place my guitar down looking up at him smiling.

“I like to climb” He says as he straightens himself coming over to me. “Were you playing the guitar?” He sits down on the end of my bed as I shrug softly.

“Erm… Yeah” looks down at my hand all of a sudden feeling nervous.

“Can I hear something?” I shake my head quickly as I look up at him.

“I… Umm… don’t really have anything for you to listen to, I watch him as he leans over grabbing my guitar.

“Come on Selbear” He gives me a puppy dog face and I sigh in defeat.

“Fine” Takes the guitar off of him and plays the tune to Angel – Cody Simpson, smiling softly as I watch myself play. As I finished I looked up at him smiling.

“I meant something of yours but that was cute!” I laugh as I place the guitar down and watch him pick it up, I always loved watching him play the guitar and sing. “Will you play me something?” I smile up at him biting my lip as I wait for him to answer. He started strumming a couple of notes and gives me a gentle nod.

Justin’s POV:

I leant against the bar at the bottom of the bed playing something I had been working on (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99Z0SPS3G68 ) once finished I smile up at you.

“Wow, Justin that was great” I shrug softly

“I’m still kind of working on it, it’s not perfect yet” She leans closer to me and kisses my cheek I smile softly as I place her guitar down.

“It’s more than perfect… You could be the next big thing!” I laugh at her as she sits back down, she’s kidding me right? No one would like my music plus my father wants me to be a lawyer like him not a performer, I sigh softly as I shake my head.

“Don’t be silly Sel”

“I’m serious Justin; your music is amazing who cares what your dad thinks”

“I do Selena, I don’t want to disappoint him” I hear her sigh and I get up of the bed, I didn’t want to argue with her about this.

“You’re not going to disappoint him he will learn to love your music”

“I should go, see you tomorrow” I sigh as I climbed out of the window going home, she clearly doesn’t understand my father.

Selena’s POV:

I watched Justin leave and sighed putting my guitar away wishing that he would see what I could. I got up and got changed into my pyjamas then climbed into bed thinking about what just happened with Justin. I should send his demo of to some of those big music companies so that he would be recognised. Reaching up I turn my lamp of and closes my eyes letting myself fall asleep.

I realise now that Chapter 2 is tiny... I'm really sorry for how short it is so I will upload Chapter 3 tomorrow!
