Demi's dreams.

"So what's your favorite color?"

"Red."

"You don't look like someone who loves red." a soft chuckle resonated from her left. "If I didn't just ask, I'd say you like green the most." the voice said almost fondly.

Demi looked down at her clothes briefly, eyeing the green shirt and shorts she's wearing before looking back up to the vast meadow before her.

She had weirder dreams. She rarely had lucid ones but it does happen sometimes, mostly it's about the weirdest things her mind could conjure when she's lucid than this... peaceful... greenery.

"Who says I'm telling the truth?" She asked the person? air? being? beside her.

For whatever reason the dream is not letting her turn her head to face whoever-whatever is beside her, talking to her so... friendly, and too familiarly.

"I can tell when you're lying to me, baraan."

"Why can you? How can you?"

"I just can."

"Sounds suspicious."

Her company..?-Dream invader?- snorted in amusement.

In the distance, the furthest reach of her sight in the horizon she can see the usual thing that's in all of her dreams. It's almost a relief to see it more than the vast greenery and occasional pops of colors from wild flowers surrounding her.

The contrasting color of once blue clear sky with the sun just barely hidden from her view under the shade of a large willow tree she's leaning her back to being, for the lack of better word, devoured by the striking red color she's familiar with.

Not the red that crosses the sky as the sun goes down but her favorite kind of red. Blood red.

As the sky changes colors up from the horizon the land does too, slowly as always, a flooding of the same color is making its way to her.

"I like red too." Her company said with a smile reflected in its tone.

Demi hummed back in acknowledgement as she watched the scene before her. As it approached her closer and closer, the familiar coppery scent of blood reached her nose more and more.

She and her company watched on the little hill they are on as the flood of blood devours everything around them and to them.

She woke up with a groan as her cat decided it's the right time to jump in her stomach.

"Alex!" Demi scolded but petted the cat all the same as he started to purr at her.

"Good morning to you too." She chuckled at the cuteness.

"Morning? It's almost 11! What have you been up to again baby?" Chad, their butler asked. Apparently the cause of Alex being able to enter her bedroom.

Her mom doesn't like having cat fur on any bedsheets and thus the cat never is allowed to enter the bedroom portion of her spacious room to sleep with her at night.

"Just the usual stuff, also chatting with the sibs." Demi picked Alex up in her arms as she made her way out her bedroom, passing Chad who was at the door.

Her brothers live on the other side of the continent, two out of four are in Craivania, one in Romarte, another one who knows where, and a sister somewhere in Irizza or other since she loves to travel too much.

All of which then means their time zones are opposite of hers one way or another hence the late nights and over sleeping.

"Well breakfast is served, although it's more of a brunch at this point for you." Chad chuckled as he left.

Demi let Alex go as she got ready for the day.
