"So you spoke to yo mama yet?" Sincere asked
I just looked out the window as he drove us back to the house. I wasn't in the mood to talk about mama's after what just happened with his. Said I was a 'good for nothin' hoe using her son.' Why mama's always thinkin' us females usin' they son no wonder we don't get along with them.
"No I haven't talked to her" I said
"Babe you go have to talk to her, don't you want yo kids to know they grandparents?" He asked
"They are fine without knowing them" I said
He shook his head and kept driving. The car ride was silent all you heard was the rain tapping against the car. I noticed Sincere missed the exit towards the house.
"Sincere you missed the exit" I said
"I know" He said locking the doors
What the hell? I thought. I started gettin' scared then looked at my stomach.
"You remember Slade right?" He asked
"Um... Yea" I choked out
"Well were going to pay a little visit to my dad" He said
I started laughing but he looked at me serious.
"Your joking right?" I asked
He chuckled as his hand slid to my thigh and gripped it.
"Nah baby" He said
I swallowed the lump in my throat and paid attention to the road. I hope I don't die tonight.
