Christopher p.o.v

I watched Kamryn pacing back and forth blocking the TV making me miss Girl Code, school was finna come up and this year I planned on having a girlfriend. I wrote some notes down on my notebook and wrote down some pick up lines my favorite one was 'be my girlfriend or Ima get my sister to beat yo ass.'

"Kamryn what's wrong with you?" I asked

"Huh? Oh nothing just a little scared" She said
I looked at her confused, out of all the ten years of my life I have never seen Kamryn scared not even when she got whoopings she showed no remorse at all. While me on the other hand cried bloody murder.

"Why you scared?" I asked

"Mama wants me to do something I would never do" She said

"Which is?" I asked

She sighed and plopped down on the couch next to me.

"Kill somebody" She said

I furrowed my eyebrows how the way Kamryn be actin' by now I thought she would've been in jail or they would've sent her ass on Beyond Scared Straight since she likes to fight or in her words "self defense with ya hands."

"Well get some help from Kobe" I said shruggring

I wasn't too fond of Kobe as of right now. He thinks sendin' all of us to therapy would help with our issues instead of being there with us. I knew that eventually what happened to my sisters would get to them and I did not want to watch the people who practically raised me suffer because of some punk ass niggas.

As a kid I always wanted to be like my dad but the man I knew wasn't who I thought I knew. The man I grew to love was a cold hearted ruthless person just like my mama. I watched as he beat up females like they were animals instead of treating them like precious gold. Instead of helpin' out the same color man as him he killed them makin' black on black crimes pile up in the police station.

For a ten year old I was smarter than people think, I knew shit that you supposed to learn when you 18. Watching all the people around me I promised myself that my kids ain't never go have the life I had growing up, Ima treat my wife how a real man post to treat theirs, but most importantly I ain't go let society label how they already labeled my daddy.

Ima be a successful black man instead of a thug.
