I Hope I Make It.

It's 6am and Im awake. Im scared as fuck for this trip but Billie is the only human that I know of thats alive...

I get out of bed and brush my teeth.

I walk into my parents room and grab a bulletproof vest from my dad closet.

I walk back into my room and put on some black jeans and a black sweatshirt.

Now it's time to pack.

I pack a few pairs of clothes. Mostly underwear because duh.

I grab a duffel bag and head to the kitchen. I stuff some bread, crackers, oatmeal, and some cereal.

I walk to the garage where my dad's huge truck is parked. I grab the two cases of water i just bought and put them in the backseat, along with the food and clothes I packed.

I grab a backpack and walk to the gun case, putting all of the ammunition inside. I grab almost all of the guns but leave a few just in case my family comes back.

I walk back to the garage and put the backpack and guns into the passenger seat. I grab some knives also, so that the guns won't make much noise and call over more brain eaters.

I walk back inside and grab a purse where I fill it with chargers and my airpods and stuff like that. I also pack up all of my hygiene stuff.

I put on my black sneakers and head into the garage. I get into the drivers seat and take a deep breath. What am I doing? Should I just stay? Im so scared

I start the truck and push the button to open the garage and reverse out.

When i get far enough I push the garage button again to close it.

I begin driving and the city is just dead. Ive seen a few brain eaters but not as much.

I follow the gps and get in the highway.

It's so weird because there's not a single car, not even stopped in the middle like in movies. This is so scary

Im driving in silence so that I can hear every little thing

It's been about 45 minutes now and i think I see a heard of the brain eaters up ahead.

Fuck.

I get closer and closer to the heard and it's weird because they made a path for me? what the fuck..

They're not even trying to follow me or run up to the car..

This is so fucking weird

I continue to drive and I notice that not a single brain eater is trying to get me? Something isn't right

Im passing through a town and decide to stop at a gas station to get gas.

I park the truck at a pump and grab a gun from the passenger seat.

I get out of the truck and walk inside to the register and type some things in so I can get my gas

I walk back outside and head to the truck

I see a brain eater walking past

The brain eater looks at me and keeps walking away from me

what the hell?

I put gas in the truck and continue driving

~Time Skip~

Im now in Billie's city. I believe Im almost at her safe house

I pull up the safe house and a guard comes up to the window and asks my name. I tell him my name and he tells the other guards to let me through.

I drive into the safe house and park the truck

Billie is standing outside waiting for me

"Amanda oh my god Hi" Billie exclaims

"Hi Billie"

Billie suddenly runs up to me and hugs me

"Do you have a bulletproof vest on?" Billie asks

I laugh "yes i do, can never be too careful you know?"

"Im glad you took all of the precautions" Billie says as she takes a step back making sure not to overwhelm me

"Me too"

"I can have my guards bring your stuff inside. I'll show you the room you'll stay in" Billie says as she walks up the front door of her safe house

I follow behind her and she begins to punch in a code to the house

We walk in and my mind is blown how even in an apocalypse, this girl has the nicest shit.

"Wow this is niceeee" I say

"Thank you" Billie says

~Billie's Pov~

I can't believe Amanda is here. She was the only person who seen my story and replied.

I mean yeah we talked all day everyday since then but I never expected her to come over here.

I mean we're in an apocalypse right now and she barely turned 18. I totally expected her to be way more scared than she is

Did I mention how gorgeous she is? Like DAMN

Dont say nothing because shes legal now so it's fine.

"Billie?" Amanda asks me as she walks out of the room shes staying in

"yes pretty?"

"I know this is like a lot but I haven't had human interaction in a long time.. Can we sleep in the same room" Amanda asks

Girl yes we can please yes.

"yes we can, i'll show you to my room"

I start walking toward my room, making sure she's following.

We walk into my room and she immediately walks over to my bed and makes herself comfortable.

Damn this girl wastes no time.

She's so cute...
