Halloween had already been over for 2 days, and the atmosphere in the lair was a little calmer than before. As everyone went about their business, I realized that Diwali was approaching. I remembered that I had to help prepare for the celebration, and was eager to share it with my friends.

-"Say, guys, do you still feel like celebrating?" I asked, before returning home to help my mother.

-"Ohh, you got another party planned? I'm in!" Mickey exclaimed

- "It depends what kind of party?" Asks Raph, a little skeptical

I'd like to say, you don't change old habits!

-" Do you know Diwali?" I ask, earning three pairs of eyes that have no idea what I'm talking about.

-"In Indian culture, Diwali is the festival of lights. It's a celebration of the victory of light over darkness, of good over evil. It's usually filled with color, food, and especially little lamps that we light to illuminate the night." Explained Donnie, seeing that his brothers didn't understand a word of my questions

Thank you, Einstein!

In any case, they were intrigued, especially Mikey.

- "So... it's a party with lots of food and lights? Count me in!" he exclaims.

- "Mhh, not really excited, but why not, it could be interesting
..." sighed Raph, arms crossed

- "Don't get fed up complaining, I'm sure it could be really interesting!" corrected Leo

- "You're just saying that because you don't want her to think you're not interested in her!" The latter retorted, earning Leo a roll of the eyes, and reddened cheeks too.

But anyway, I don't have much time to stay, my mother's waiting for me. But before I go, I'll run through my ideas again, just in case they want to.

-"Well, are you interested or not?" I asked

Nothing, no answer. Well, I don't think I have to, if they don't want to, I don't have to!
I turn to go home, a little sad all the same.

Well, I'd like to have held her back so she wouldn't think we weren't interested in her, but it's for a good cause!

I turn back to the others, to find out what we're going to start with for this famous Diwali. I'd never heard of this festival before, until April told us about it. And we knew it would please her if we did a Diwali

- "So, what are we going to do now?" Mickey asks enthusiastically.

-"First of all, if we're going to help Priya and the others, we've got to do it without Jane noticing, to make sure we surprise her!" April adds.

-"April has a point, we really must be quiet!" Donnie adds.

- "Well, are we going or are we going to stay here like idiots?" Growled Raph, still with his arms crossed.

We all got motivated and left the lair, heading for the Kumar Residence.
Diwali, get ready!

Arriving on the scene, Jane's younger sister, Maya spent some time with Donnie creating small terracotta lamps, named "Diya", which they filled with ghee and oil
