A sharp knock echoed through the quiet condo, breaking Gigi's focus as she scrolled through shows on  Netflix. She'd been eagerly waiting for her and Shanae's DoorDash to show up, her mind already on the wings and fries she'd been craving all day.

"Coming!" she called, easing herself off the living room sofa. She swung the door open with a casual smile—only to stop cold.

Jay stood there, dressed head to toe in Amiri, from the custom distressed jeans to a black hoodie with subtle, gleaming silver accents. His crisp white sneakers were spotless, accessorized with a diamond-encrusted watch and a "OHB" chain resting against his chest. In one hand, he held a bouquet of money roses, each petal meticulously crafted from hundred-dollar bills, and in the other, Jay held a sleek black Chanel shopping bag, a crisp white bow tied neatly at the top. The signature double C logo gleamed, instantly recognizable.

Gigi's eyes narrowed as she took in the scene, any excitement she had for the DoorDash was now replaced with irritation. "Oh. Hey Jay." she said, her voice cold. "What can I do for you?"

Jay's smirk didn't falter as he gave her a once-over, eyes glinting with mild amusement. "I'm here to see Shanae," he said smoothly, like it was the most natural thing in the world. "She here?"

Gigi stepped further into the doorway, arms crossed as she glared up at him. "Yeah, she here. But she probably don't wana see you. After everything you put her through, ya know?" She faked a smile, not able to hide her annoyance, "You really think you can waltz in here with a bag and a stack of cash and make things better?"

Jay let out a low chuckle, clearly unbothered. "Look, I didn't come here to argue with you, Gigi. I'm just here to talk to Shanae and make things right."

Before Gigi could respond, Shanae appeared in the hallway, drawn by the sound of voices. Her eyes widened, momentarily stunned as she took in the sight of Jay and the money roses in his hand. Her gaze shifted from the bouquet to the Chanel bag, the luxurious allure of it all hitting her before she could check herself.

"What the... Jay, what you doin' here?" she asked, a mix of shock and intrigue slipping into her voice, even as she tried to keep her expression neutral.

Jay's smirk softened, a hint of warmth in his gaze as he held out the bouquet. "I'm here to make things right, baby. I know I messed up, I just wana show you I'm serious about you."

Gigi rolled her eyes, muttering under her breath, "Serious? When he got a whole family he's hiding behind." She cast a wary glance at Shanae, waiting to see her reaction.

Shanae shot her sister a quick look, silently asking for space, before focusing back on Jay. Gigi huffed in annoyance but reluctantly stepped aside, crossing her arms as she stayed within earshot, keeping an eye on the two.

Shanae took the bouquet, her fingers brushing over the crisp bills, her expression was guarded but she couldn't hide her curiosity. "Jay... this won't fix what you did. You didn't tell me you had a whole family."

Jay's face softened as he took a step closer, his voice low and sincere—at least on the surface. "I know, and that's on me. I just... I don't want things to end like this. You important to me, Shanae. Like, for real."

"Important?" Gigi scoffed quietly, unable to resist throwing in a jab. "Until you back with your wife and kids, right?"

Jay cast her a quick, irritated glance before shifting his attention back to Shanae, his gaze softening. "Look, Shanae, my life... It's complicated. I get that. But that don't change how I feel about you. I want you in my life—however I can have you."

Shanae's expression wavered, her gaze flickering between the Chanel bag and Jay, clearly wrestling with her emotions. The lavish gifts, the attention, the thrill of being wanted by a man like Jay—it all tugged at her, tempting her in ways she wasn't ready to admit. But then she thought about Kentrell, and how he let her be herself, free from expectations. He'd never put her in a box, and he sure didn't come with the baggage Jay did. Yet Jay's presence, the money, the power—it was all an irresistible pull she couldn't deny.
