Proper explanation of the story:
Buck has went through a few terrible break-ups (e.g. abby, taylor etc) but Tommy was the worst one yet. After Buck and Tommy breaks up, Buck goes straight to Eddie for comfort and for some reason they go to a bar and run into taylor with abby and Tommy!? This affects Buck but he had Eddie.
