Chapter 4

Hawks sat there awkwardly. Not knowing much on what to say. That was until dabi spoke up. "You alright? You seem off." Dabi asked. "Oh, yeah I'm ok, pretty tired though." Said Hawks, leaning onto the head of the couch and closing his eyes. "Maybe you should take a nap, you look like shit" dabi stated before taking another drag of his cigarette, before putting it out in the ash tray.

"Not tired." Stated Hawks. Dabi sighed before picking up Hawks, Hawks let out a yelp. "What are you doing!? Put me down!" Hawks exclaimed trying to get out of dabi's grip. "Not until you get sleep." Dabi said bluntly walking to the bedroom. "I said I wasn't tired!" Hawks yelled on the verge of tears. "Now now, earlier you said you were tired. And now that you don't want a nap your tired?" Dabi asked in a teasing tone. "No nap!" Hawks whined. Dabi chuckled, "I dunno... you seem pretty fussy.." dabi joked, this earned a pout from Hawks. "Me don't wanna nap!! No nap!!" Yelled Hawks and he started to cry. Dabi sighed. "Ah ah ah, it's nap time little one. And your not getting out of it, now how about we get you into warm pj's hm?" Now Hawks would be lying if he said that didn't sound amazing.

After they got to the bedroom Hawks started to calm down, that was until dabi pull a onesie and pull up from the bag I stuff he bought. "No!" Hawks yelled, dabi ignored his protests and walked closer. "No! M'Big boy!" Hawks yelled starting to cry once again. "Shh.. baby bird" dabi coaxed. "This is just for extra protection ok?" Dabi tried once more.
Lucky for him Hawks was to exhausted to try and keep protesting. He let dabi change him.

Once that was done dabi picked Hawks up and set him on his hip. "Hungry baby bird?" Dabi asked. Hawks nodded and burrowed into the crook of dabi's neck. Dabi smiled, something that almost never happened. He made Hawks some Mac n cheese with a side of blueberries. He set Hawks on the table and started to feed him. Once Hawks was full dabi picked him up once again carrying the dirty dishes to the sink.

Hawks rubbed his eyes, he was obviously very sleepy. Dabi started to slightly bounce Hawks on his hip while pacing the apartment. He was hoping this would coax the little into falling asleep so he could pick up around the apartment and leave. It may have taken about 2 minutes for Hawks to full fall asleep, poor thing. What was the hero commission doing to him?

Dabi layed Hawks in his bed and left for the night. But Hawks was the only thing he could think of. Was he OK? Is he sad? Is he lonely? A million thoughts all races through his mind. But they all shared a common subject, Hawks. Now he doesn't know why but lately he's been worrying about him a lot. Maybe it's because he found out Hawks Is a little, or maybe he catching feel- no. No no no no no. He could NOT be thinking that. Hawks was a hero and he was a villain. A relationship forming between to two was NOT an option. But why? Why does he feel so empty without Hawks?

As he continued to walk to his apartment he couldn't help bit feel like a part of him was missing. Like there was a hole inside of him. Like he genuinely love haw- he was pulled from his thoughts when his phone rang. It was Hawks. What could have happened in the- oh my fucking God it's been an hour. Has he really been walking that long? He picked up the phone.

Crying. That's all doing could here when he put the phone to his ear. "Bud? What's wrong?" Dabi asked Hawks over the wails. "Weft! Daddy weft!" Hawks sobbed. Ok. Well out of the three words that came out of the boy's mouth 'daddy' was what shocked dabi the most. "Oh bud.. I had to leave, can you be a big boy for me and go back to sleep now?" Dabi asked despite knowing the reaction he was going to get. "Nu! Need daddy!" The little cried. "Bud... I really would come back if I could but im already across the city.." dabi said in a sad tone. This, was a bad idea, as he heard Hawks start to cry harder, begging for dabi to come back. But dabi just couldn't. He didn't know what to do. Should he go back? Hawks however started to hyperventilate.

And this is how dabi found himself booking it back to hawks's apartment as fast as he could. Reassuring Hawks that he would be there as soon as he could. He couldn't just leave him like that.

About 25 minutes later dabi climbed back into hawks's apartment and running to his room. He found the little curled up in a ball clutching one of the beaten up shirts dabi had left for dear life. He sobbed himself to sleep. Dabi had tucked him back in, and decided to change into some of hawks's spare clothes.he c

limbed into bed with Hawks, falling asleep rather quickly.
