🥀
It had never been my intention to cause her brittle feelings to break; or even to make her faint so easily.
I wanted nothing more than to protect her from the cruel world.
But there she was. All laid out on her bedroom floor, her breathing so soft and calm.
"Cmon mouse. Wake up."
I say as panic starts to settle in.
Her soft brown eyes peek open, her pupils immediately dilating with fear as she scrambled to get away.
I didn't say a word. I reached out and grabbed her arms, pinning them beside her.
"Stop that. You're going to faint again."
My words have never been so soft until now, but still, her eyes were wide and her breathing sped up.
"That's it, hold your breath; let it out slowly. You're already getting much better mouse"
I laid her in bed, making sure she was comfortable fore I disappeared out of her window again.
But that wasn't the end of tonight.
I sat outside her window, watching her as she tried to collect her thoughts. Her knees pressed up against her chest as she stared out the dark window.
Poor girl.
I done traumatized the poor thing.
