4- Lunch and a party

Yaaaay! School was canceled due to blizzard warnings. Finally I get some time to just sit and type. I hope you enjoyed the last chapter and hope you enjoy this chapter too. As always please comment and vote!

I lied in bed all night last night thinking about him. I just couldn’t help myself. I mean occasionally my mind drifted to Peyton, but still. My head was ridiculous. I just wanted to go to sleep. When I got back home from school yesterday, I of course had to explain to my mom that I just wanted a change in my style. She said that I looked cute and that she understands. I have such a great mom. Even though I didn’t get much sleep last night due to my wondering mind, I didn’t feel tired. I actually felt myself eager to get to school. My high school works on a block schedule so I don’t have the same classes each day.

Today was Friday though, and I only had three exams to do and then first semester is done and over with. I decided to go with another cute outfit because I still had to make a new impression on a few people. I didn’t want it to look like I was trying so hard though. I mean hey! I am new at this. I wore a brown lace skirt, with a pinkish-red tank top and a black leather jacket. I would have worn a brown leather jacket, but I only have a black one. I curled a few random pieces in my hair, leaving it down again. Checking over my reflection in the mirror I was more than satisfied with how i looked. I grabbed my keys and backpack and an dphone then headed to my car for another exciting day. I got to school early as usual and stopped by my locker to drop off my bag since I wasn’t going to need it. As I closed my locker I jumped, because I saw Peyton standing behind it.

“Geez! You scared me!” I said placing my hand on my heart.

“Sorry” he chuckled. “So what are you doing here so early?”

“I’m always here early. Why are you so interested in me all of a sudden?” I asked as if I didn’t know.

“I like your change.” He said as he looked up and down my body.

“I’m glad you do. So what brings you here so early? You never are.”

“Actually I came for you……I wanted to see if we could hang out sometime.” I just realized how close he really was to me. Butterflies erupted in my stomach and started to blush.

“Yeah…ummm…sure, when were you thinking about hanging out?”

“Well actually I was thinking about after exams today. How many do you have?”

“That should be fine and I have three.”

“Great me too. Just meet me here at your locker after you’re done.”

“Okay, well I guess I’ll see you later, I should get to my class now.”

“Alright Arix, see you later” He winked and walked off. I let out a breath I didn’t even know I was holding in. Peyton was definitely hot and popular. I can’t believe he is asking me to hang out with him!!

~~~After exams~~~

I went straight to my locker after testing. I cannot deny that I wasn’t excited to hang out with Peyton. I neared my locker and already saw that he was waiting there for me, along with a group or his friends.

“Damn bro! You didn’t say she got that hot!” one of his friends commented. I didn’t know him though, but i guess he knew me. He looked like he was a senior. Peyton didn’t say anything. He just smiled at me as I walked up to them.

“Hey” I said. “Ready to go?”

“Yeah, don’t you need you bag?”

“No, finals are done and it’s Friday.”
