(I'm going to try harder from now on to write better pls don't expect much I'm sry)

Atsushi was petrified peering down at the sobbing woman her hands were covered in her own blood he Didn't want to kill her she looked genuine and kind. She most likely has a family maybe kids, they would become motherless or even parentless, he couldn't grant her mercy he didn't have the power to. If he didn't someone else would and  do it with much less empathy killing a person had never crossed his mind he took a moment of awareness to know each person standing in this room has killed A person, or many. It disgusted him In a way, it wasn't natural selection it was broad slaughter for no reason. like killing an animal to not even touch it.

"this is normal feeling to have being put into these situations Atsushi, no one here blames you for hesitating. But if you were a judge sitting in the court room.  would you let this woman free for all her crimes?" Dazai's hand was on his shoulder now as he whispered this into his ear softly. "i-i don't know.." it was true. he didn't.

"We never did anything to harm her, we helped her and she betrayed us. risking all of our lives and you give her remorse? We kill those who have done something to us after being warned, if we let this woman free what will this action influence other rivals to think?"  that they were weak. that they were to nervous and weak to end one Woman's life. it was a unthinkable question, anyone would know the answer. But he just couldn't do it, even if his life was apart of the group of people she could of harmed. Killing a person was against all of his Morals.

"I won't do it Dazai.." he slumped his shoulders clenching his fists looking down as tears fell from his face.  "I'll easily take care of-" Akutagawa chimed in before being stopped. "let her go, He will learn the hard way of letting people walk over him." Atsushi sighed with relief, turning to look at the group of people standing before him. it was certain everyone else in that room would of done it, he felt like he failed and succeeded in helping someone else.

Akutagawa, Kyouka,  And Dazai  had walked out the door Atsushi following behind before looking back at the woman who looked at him. he stopped, she was grinning menacing. it made his stomach turn, she should of been trying to call for her backup but she wouldn't move just gazing at Atsushi it was making his skin crawl before he quickly shut the door running closer to the group.

"Leave it to the weretiger to make a fool out of himself" Akutagawa stated using Rashomon to lift himself up he started coughing badly and walked ahead of the group until he soon was out of sight. "Lets hope she doesn't report back to the guild" the child said before leaving the group as well and it had just been Dazai and Atsushi.

"how are you feeling Atsushi?" Osamu had stopped hands in pockets and turned to look at the boy. he didn't have any answer apart of him wanted to cry and then scream at his mentor for doing such things to him. but he just shook his head no. he felt a hand on his head and looking up. "It doesn't seem fair I know. You feel you didn't deserve any of this and its all my fault, but there are reasons to what I do, Akutagawa may be talking but he felt just the same as you in the beginning. were you came from I'm sure you know how real torture comes in different packages. this world is one full package of torture. from the moment your eyes are opened to the time were you are buried, those people on the train were people from the guild. there's a price tag on you for your ability, but that is not the reason I took you in Atsushi"

he stopped and brought the boy into a hug "your not an item or a thing to be traded, you are  much more special, your enough and if you want to prove you deserve to live then put your time into us.  and you will have to kill and work your way with the rest of us but I promise your safe here."

Atsushi took the hug, even with the fear he had there was terrors in the world and if no was would spare him besides this man then no one deserved to be spared when under his mercy either. "I will make sure I deserve this mafia and I will protect the ones who protect me" he managed to say before bursting into tears.

it was starting to set dawn by the time they arrived back at the headquarters and everyone quickly went to sleep. besides Atsushi, sitting on the couch making not much sound as to not awake Akutagawa. he just thought about everything. And soon his eyes weighed heavier as he drifted off into a deep sleep
