Red Dice

Awkward silence.

Both males were still registering the events that took place that day. Akutagawa worried about his incompetence and couldn't trust that Dazai wouldn't find out Meanwhile Atsushi was mentally killing himself for letting his emotions take control.

*I killed a person...* he kept silent and was staring at the ground while walking back, Akutagawa was ahead of him so they both didn't need to interact at the moment and it was most likely for best it was that way until things settled down. Atsushi knew his partner wasn't a touchy person or a peoples person either so he was most definitely on thin ice and he valued his life to much to interact with him. 

*why did I let that cat hug me..?" Akutagawa had distanced himself from Atsushi after getting all these mixed emotions he knew it was the reason he hadn't been on the watch for danger. He has been more focused on the weretiger that nothing else seemed to matter to him and From the glances Atsushi was giving him. *he seems scared of me..Most likely regretting hugging me.* Aku didn't really mind the hug. it was more of how he hugged the tiger back, he didn't need to get attached to anyone or anything. 

then it clicked. Dazai must of brought Atsushi here as a test for Akutagawa that had to be it. there was nothing to special about Atsushi it was about how he would react to the tiger. this was all a test and Dazai had tricked him. Now he was starting to get upset, was Atsushi  in on this to? were they both planning to try and get him to faulter. He had softened a spot for someone he had just recently met. that was a weakness in Akutagawa's eyes.

*I'll stop talking to the weretiger from now on. I must show Dazai that this feeling isn't going to stop me from becoming the best* he grunted and when Atsushi didn't notice Akutagawa disappeared leaving the tiger alone. 

"Akutagawa?" Atsushi looked around his surroundings quickly pulling out his phone and Dialing him to receive nothing. then he called Dazai. "why helloooo~ how's shopping with Akutagawa!" he could hear Dazai's smile through the phone. "it was going fine until he disappeared. i can't find him anywhere one moment he was Infront of me mumbling to himself the next i looked he was completely gone.."  Dazai's voice died down and he sighed "I thought he might do something like this. He will be fine you need to come back and we will discuss things from there" "wait but sir we-" he was cut off by the beeping from his phone indicating there was no one else on the line.  

*the moment i thought maybe we were getting along better...* Atsushi started walking again heading towards the building. rustling could be heard from the nearby trashcans as he turned his head setting down the groceries he went closer "Hello?" he called out watching the trash shake more violently and he heard a snap behind him looking to come face to face with a wooden  board he fell back and everything went dizzy he was slowly losing consciousness all he could hear were radio whispers and then he was out.

"We have captured the tiger. returning back to the Agency in a few boss! a younger males voice was heard. and it went silent. 

Back with Dazai and Akutagawa. both men were sitting on the rooftop looking over the sky view 

"what made you Abandon  Atsushi earlier Akutagawa?" Dazai was meddling with a knife turning it with just his fingers in circles. "I know what your trying to do, and I won't let the Jinko get in my way. He is just another thing your trying to train me with." Akutagawa stared straight at Him with full confidence he was right.

"I will say your getting better at your guesses but I unfortunately have to say your completely taking this the wrong way Ryosuke. Atsushi and you are important but the reason its him is because you two only are important together. I may have trained you to be independent but that was because I didn't think there was another compatible duo then me and Chuuya. Getting Atsushi wasn't easy so yes it may seem to have taken most my time but You were and have always been my main goal sense day 1. But you have to come to accepting the fact that you and the weretiger are better together. and You can feel it don't you? You didn't push him away from that hug nor many other things. I'm starting to think something more is happening to that oh so stone heart you have." 

Akutagawa took Dazai's words to heart always but how was he suppose to believe That this wasn't another lie. "i don't know what your talking abo-" Dazai slapped Akutagawa's face "it seems you prefer when I am rather unkind then when i try to have a heartfelt conversation Ryosuke. I suggest you take my words literally. I know how someone acts when they have grown for a person. and if you think emotion is a weakness then I've failed as your mentor." with that Dazai stood up answering his phone before going dead silent.

"your fucking kidding me?!" he gritted through his teeth before throwing the phone. "Atsushi was taken by the Agency and is being held captative."  Akutagawa stood up his hands in fists. by his side "i thought we were partnering with the fuckers!?"  Dazai pulled out a notebook from the inside of his jacket. 

"that was until i stole a few items from them. Oh don't look at me like that! I needed to borrow them. its simple we return their items and we get Atsushi-" explosions could be seen from across town. the guild was infiltrating the Agency.

"i forgot to mention your partner is also wanted for 7mil yen." Dazai gave a small thumbs up before quickly running down the side stairs and into the main room to gather people.

Akutagawa was already half way across town by the time he entered the room. Dazai chuckled a little before banging on Chuuya's door.
