'Congratulations Host'

I stared momentarily at the two floating words in front of me, debating whether or not my choice was write in accepting the deal.

"I already made my choice and there's no going back now." I sighed before swiping the hovering words away.

Or at least the equivalent of one seeing as I have no physical form and I'm a collection of incomprehensible ideas, thoughts, imaginations and so on.

"It feels so different yet familiar all the same." I thought over my new state of self just as new words popped in.

'For accepting the deal you are now bound to three simple rules according to the contract'

You're not allowed to play a neutral role and most remain active within the duration of the game.

You must fulfill the task given to you for as long as the duration allows it, if there's no definite duration then you may fulfill the task at any given time you desire.

•You're not allowed to run or escape away from the game, following to violate this rule will result in the immediate destruction of your existence.

Sounds simple enough not like I'm going to try and escape something I agreed on knowing the inherent dangers involved.

'Please select from the four worlds to be transported;'

Warhammer 40k
•SCP
•Lovecraft
•Arknights

Yeah, the first 3 are out and as for the last one? I don't have any idea of what it is but I feel like it'll be the least trouble.

One can say it's what my instincts was telling me so I might as well accept the fourth option.

The first 3 are the nightmares among nightmares and I'm not gambling myself to try entering those three worlds.

I know well the horror involved that I'm not up to the task in dealing with prefer to choose something more manageable before jumping straight into any horror.

'Congratulations you have choice Arknights, now please select which timeframe do you wish to appear in.'

start at the beginning of the storyline
10 years before canon
•100 years before canon
•1000 years before canon
•10,000 years before cannon
•Insert your own time-frame before Canon

Huh? So I could choose when I want to appear? That's neat so what if say before the dawn of creation?

'Acknowledged, timeframe has been chosen: before genesis'

Wait what?! No! Stop I was just joking!

'Understood, timeframe now set to 'Before Genesis'... initiating transition in 5... 4...'
