Part 2: Earth's new moon

When Earth and Venus woke up, Earth felt strange, like as if one side of him was burning and the other was freezing.
'Earth?!' Is something wrong?' Venus asked with a worried expression
'No, I don't think so. Why are you asking?' Earth replied, confused
'Because it looks like one side of you is literally on fire and the other side is literally freezing.'
'Thats exactly how I feel. Do I have some sort of Earthling sickness? Will this be COVID 19 number 2?'
'Earth I'm not a doctor but you're probably not sick.' He looked around Earth to see if he could find any clues to what was happening. Then he noticed; 'Maybe it's because Luna's gone.'
'WHAT!?!??!?! WHERE IS HE?!?!?!'
'I don't know. But at least now he can't try to kill us. Let's ask Mercury if he can help.'
'What do you mean, "help"'
'You'll find out.'

So Earth and Venus went over to Mercury. He was found playing chess with Phobos and Deimos.
'I didn't know we had Space Chess?' Venus said, surprised.
'Yeah! We found it in the asteroid belt and asked Mercury if he could teach us how to play!' Deimos said enthusiastically
'Mercury how do you know how to play chess?' Earth asked
'Well I'm kinda just making it up and hoping it'll work.'
'Anyways, Mercury. We need you to replace Luna.' Venus said
'What? How am I supposed to do that?' Asked Mercury
'Well it shouldn't be too hard. All you have to do is just orbit around Earth so that he doesn't kill off all his Earthlings.'
'But---'
'Please? Earth has worked so hard trying to have life and I know that he doesn't want it to just be destroyed. I know what that's like and I don't want it to happen to Earth. Please Mercury, Please save the Earthlings.' Venus started to tear up, but quickly rubbed away the tears.
'Fine. I'll try to be Earth's Moon.'
'Thank you so much!' Venus and Earth  said in unison.
'I promise that you'll love it! And I know that my Earthlings would love to see a different moon floating in their sky at night.' Earth said happily.
'We can also help!' Phobos and Deimos said enthusiastically.
'Well, we really only need Mercury to help----' Venus said, but was cut off by Earth.
'---But we'd love to have you two helping as well!' Earth said.
'You're too nice, you know that?' Venus said.
'Yes I do!' Earth said happily.

So Mercury, Phobos, and Deimos went over to Earth and started orbiting around him, trying to mimic Luna.
'I wonder what your Earthlings are thinking right now.' Venus said.
'They're probably shocked at how awesome it is that they have 3 moons that they have never seen before!' Earth said
'Yeah, Probably.'
