Flower in a tree's shadow.

You stand there, huge and tall,
with you hiding me, the small.
I feel like a tiny flower,
while being overwhelmed by your power.

Spring is there, snow starts to melt,
freeing us from the cold we felt.
I feel like a minor daffodil,
while you do what I never will.

Summer paints your leaves golden,
leaving me with the desire to be holden.
I feel like an insignificant daisy,
trying my best but being seen as lazy.

Autumn makes you even lovelier,
drying me out and make me uglier.
I feel like a useless tulip,
losing strenght like humans to julip.

Winter's next, your branches blank,
while I'm gone like trust after pranks.
I feel like a worthless rose,
not wanted by anyone since I froze.

We reached the end, tho I still live,
while no one believed I could survive.
I feel like a tiny flower,
next year I will show you my power.
