All the students in class 1A slept peacefully on a cold winter morning.

Momo, waking up at the earliest time, had her alarm set off first. 'Ugh, I really do like being class president, but that means arriving first at school. How does Iida never complain!?'

She yawned as she stretched her arms high in the air then groggily stepped out of her bed. The first thing she'd always do was turn on the light. But when she flicked the switch, she gasped quietly in shock that the light just wouldn't turn on.

'Oh my...' She mumbled to herself, attempting to turn on the light again.

Momo, now concerned, walked over to the curtains to get some light from there. But as she pushed the curtains to the side, a layer of ice had formed over of her window. Momo, being the class president that she is, quickly went over to Iida's room and knocked loudly on his door. She had to inform Iida about the situation. The halls were dark. Everything was dark but the windows which provided some light.

Iida, when he heard the loud knock, sprung out of bed, ready to cater to the students needs. He'd always act like the teacher when the teacher wasn't around.

He creaked his door open to see a worried looking Momo standing outside. 'What's the matter? How may I help?' He asked Momo, taking in the sight of the dark halls and room.

'The power is out...' Momo revealed, worriedly looking at the dark surroundings. 'And it's very cold too- I don't think we can attend school today.'

Iida decided to test if the power was really out so he tried to turn on the light in his room. But just like Momo's, the light wouldn't work. He also saw how chilly it looked outside and sighed. He could predict that the weather caused this unfortunate situation. He then decided to test the lights everywhere in the dorms as Momo followed close behind.

'None of the lights are working!' Momo desperately exclaimed as she tried over and over again to turn the lights on.

Iida sighed and decided to open all the curtains to get as much light as possible in the dorms. 'Well, that's unfortunate...' He told Momo like he was thinking about something. 'I do remember something Aizawa told us- that if the electricity is out, then he'd be too grumpy to teach...'

And that made Momo realize something. Because of the power outage, school was going to be cancelled for the day. She knew that some students would like the idea of having no school, but others would struggle to accept it. Now...all Iida and Momo could do was just wait for the others to wake up and inform them of the power outage situation.
