### 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟒: "𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬"San stared at the message he had sent, his pulse quickening.
He had finally said it — and now it was out there. He felt vulnerable, exposed.
Wooyoung hadn't replied immediately, and the silence felt like an eternity. Was Wooyoung processing it? Had he already moved on? Or had he been waiting for San to say something for months, just like San had been waiting for him?
The seconds stretched into minutes. San was about to put his phone down and try to sleep when the phone buzzed again.
"𝐈'𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨𝐨, 𝐒𝐚𝐧. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐈'𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐭. 𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝."
San's breath caught in his throat. He blinked, reading the message again to make sure he wasn't dreaming.
"𝐈 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐲."
For a moment, neither of them typed anything. They both let the words sink in, each unsure of what to say next.
Finally, San typed back: "𝐒𝐨, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰?"
The response came quickly.
"𝐖𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭. 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫."
San smiled to himself, heart lightening for the first time in months. Maybe it wasn't too late after all. Maybe, just maybe, there was a future for them. A future they could build together.
And maybe the jealousy in his heart would finally stop hurting.
