AUTHOR'S POV 𝜗𝜚⋆₊˚

Ankush as promised picked Prerna at sharp 7 in the evening and both of them were sitting in the car, with dead silence

"I am bored" Prerna announced and Ankush didn't answer

"Mr Rawat I am bored" Prerna said again after a few minutes

"What should I do Prerna? You have phone please operate that and if you don't know how to, then I am sorry I can't give you a tutorial" Ankush said

"Why are you always so sour?" Prerna grumbled

"I am not in the mood Prerna please, the work from office and university has drained me" Ankush mumbled

Prerna didn't say anything further and just started scrolling through her phone

After 30 minutes or so they reached the Rawat mansion and Ankush parked the car in the garage and then both of them got out from the car

They both were greeted by Reshma who answered the door once they rung the bell

"Reshma please bring me almond oil in my room" Ankush said and started walking up the stairs towards his bedroom

Reshma immediately went in the kitchen to heat up the oil slightly, before delivering it to Ankush

Prerna followed Reshma in the kitchen and observed her heating the oil

"Reshma why did Ankush ask for this?" Prerna was confused as to why he needed this

"Ankush sir asks for this when his muscles ache very much, he massages himself with this oil, it helps him, his doctor recommended it to him to do it weekly" Prerna nodded and as Reshma was keeping the bowl of oil in a tray all set to deliver it to Ankush, Prerna interjected

"Shall I take this?"

"Sure" Reshma smiled and handed over the tray to Prerna

Prerna thanked her and then started walking upstairs, once she reached the room, she knocked to make Ankush aware she was entering but she got no answer

Prerna entered the room and it was empty, so she kept the tray on the teapoy table present in the centre of the room

As soon as the tray touched the table, Prerna heard the door opening and instinctively she turned towards the noise
