The premiere of the 7th season is about to take place and both Cait and Sam are on their way. When they arrive, they both get out and greet the first fans. Sam, who always keeps a watchful eye on his beautiful Irish woman, follows closely behind. Here and there, photos are taken and autographs are given, much to the delight of the fan community. There is shouting and waving and you can practically feel the excitement among the fans.

Of course, it is not possible to please everyone and after a short time the two are on the red carpet. Grin and bear it was the motto. Both present themselves flawlessly and absolutely polished to a high gloss. They pose together and Sam cannot help but provocatively present his ring again for a few seconds, giving his secret wife a mischievous smile.

After they move on and photos are taken, the first interviewers arrive. First a man who asks the usual questions and tries here and there to tease out what will happen in the second part of the 7th season, to no avail. They smile cautiously. Cait keeps looking at her Scotsman, but she doesn't let on that she's a little stressed. Such events are always stressful, there's no way to put a positive spin on them. He knows her and carefully puts a hand on Caits back to calm her down a little. Her eyebrow twitches briefly, but she remains firm when Sam touches her and takes a deep, careful breath.

The next interviewer comes and smiles at both of them, happy and excited. With her gaze mostly directed at Sam, she asks the first question.

"Sam, congratulations on the premiere! How does it feel to be standing here again today after such a long time?" OK. Caitriona is apparently just a microphone holder in the show. Sam raises an eyebrow questioningly, but answers confidently. "Exciting. I mean..." he looks at his wife. "WE have come a long way and sweated a lot of blood and sweat. And none of this would have gone so well without my wonderful co-partner Catriona!" He gave his last words much more expression than usual. The interviewer nods and continues to look at Sam.

Cait doesn't care whether she is spoken to or not. She doesn't feel the need to be the center of attention. Her focus is on the Highlander next to her. As long as he is with her, she feels safe and relaxed. "Sam, a second question. How do you manage to stay so professional for so long? Doesn't it get boring filming with the same actress?" Cait looks at the floor and rolls her tongue in annoyance. She tries to ignore the fact that she is talking to her husband-to-be. With a brief and nervous glance at his wife, he quickly looks back at the unpleasant interviewer to ease the situation a little. He smiles tightly.

"On the contrary. We know each other now and as I have said many times before. I know Cait and I know that something is wrong even without her telling me what is going on. Working with her is always entertaining and varied and anything but boring. Apart from that, I am proud of her because she is also a producer. She has come a long way!" He hugs her and is genuinely proud of his co-partner and wife. The interviewer looks a little absent-minded, not what she wanted to hear. If she expects Sam to push himself to the front, she will have to wait a long time. He is too proud of his Claire aka Cait. The Irish woman smiles at Sam almost forcedly and he swallows. He knows the look and knows that if he doesn't finish soon, Cait will go for the interviewer's throat. With a smile at Cait in turn, he glances at the pushy interviewer. "We have to move on," he said in a polite manner and was just about to turn around when the interviewer grabbed his arm. "I have a few more questions for-" she didn't get any further. Cait grabbed her arm and gave her a death glare that could have summoned demons. "Hands off, the interview is over," she hissed at her, making it clear with more pressure in her grip that she was not joking. The interviewer is taken aback and looks at Cait in shock, but nods silently. "I'm sorry!" she said quietly and intimidated.

"I'm not!" Cait replied, extremely pissed and almost forgetting to let go of her. Sam stepped in unnoticed to prevent anything worse from happening.

He carefully takes Cait by the arm. "Darling... let go please," he whispers to her very gently, regardless of whether anyone could hear what he was saying. Cait hesitates for a moment to make sure that this pushy woman doesn't do something like that again. With a fixed gaze, she walks away from her almost in slow motion and then wrapps her arm around Sam. The moment in which all this happened was seconds and shouldn't have been noticed. It's a shame that two people couldn't even do their work normally without being touched by strangers.

Sam walked a little further away with her and finally stopped. "Everything OK, mo Chridghe?" he whispered lovingly to her and pulled himself together not to kiss her, but came noticeably too close to her. She didn't care and briefly hid her face in his chest, agitated, to get some air. He grinned. "Someone's got their claws out, huh?" She looks up at him and grins cheekily. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to get us into trouble."

She immediately moved a little further away from him as people walked past her. "It's OK, my love...seeing you like this makes my blood boil," he joked with a hint of truth and made her smile. She raised an eyebrow and the Scotsman insisted on giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Let's keep going...there are probably a few shippers just waiting to talk about us..." they grinned and continued walking together.
