Episode 5

Looking quite shaken, Tay says nothing and just hangs up on him.

Inside the restaurant, the family and Namtan sit down to dinner. Inn then hands New his wallet and chides him for being so careless. New asks where it was, and Inn says it was out front. New's not sure how it ended up there.

At home, Tay is looking up New Thitipoom's employee personnel file. He angrily throws the worry dolls across the room for being fooled by him. The next day, New receives a text message to meet Tay for lunch near his workplace. New's made-up one. New arrives late for their lunch. Tay asks about which small company he works for. New says that they sell household goods. Tay asks him to specify. he looks around and says coffee mugs, air fresheners, tie pins and so on. Tay claims that he doesn't know much about him but he knows everything about him. New says they're not really dating so why would he need to know. Tay abruptly ends this interrogation and then he calls Earth to schedule a meeting at 2 p.m. with Team 1. New looks at his watch, it's 1:25 p.m. So Tay offers him a ride back to work and he refuses.

Of course New arrives back late and tries to hide from him but no such luck this time. Tay orders him to re-do the Tom kha kai recipe by lowering the cost by 20%. Ms. Godji says it had the highest ratings at the tasting event. New tries to argue that if it's lowered by 20% then the quality will go down, and Tay steamrolls him into doing as he says. Back in Tay's office, Earth questions why he's requesting this as he seems to be very emotional towards New. Tay asks him if he doesn't know who he is. Tay then yells that New Thitipoom is Dew Thitipoom. A surprised Earth asks what he's going to do. Tay replies that he'll take his time to make him realize just how big of a mistake he's made.

(So mature... he did pay for her services. He does recall that part, right?)

Tay makes New re-do the Tom kha kai over and over. He takes pleasure in rejecting his attempts, including not even tasting the dishes. Nothing is to his satisfaction. At some point, New corners him and gets right in his face and asks exactly how he wants it done. Tay’s bothered by how close he is to him, and stammers out that he wants it done until it's to his liking. Then he looks around like a cornered animal before he walks away from him.

New re-making the Tom kha kai when Namtan drops by for a visit as she has a meeting with the marketing department. At the employee cafeteria, Grandpa joins Tay and Earth for lunch, which makes many of the employees flee. When Grandpa sees the poster with New and Namtan, he complains about New being the one who made him fall. He says that he looks fine here so why was his face all covered with mask before. Tay says that he guesses it's because of all the lies. Then he makes this uneasy face at the poster as he fixes his hair. The guys sit down to lunch and then New walks in with Namtan. he’s talking to Namtan about the food and suddenly notices that the place is kind of empty. he looks around and sees Tay glaring at him.

(They play the sound of a flying archaeopteryx during this. Hahaha.)

He gasps and quickly turns around and asks Namtan if she would like to go somewhere else for lunch. he starts shoving her out of the cafeteria.

Grandpa then asks if Dew is busy these days, which makes Earth choke on his drink. Tay is glaring after New and Namtan. He’s thinking how dare he date someone else openly at work as he smashes his fork into his food. Grandpa tries to get his attention several times to ask about setting up a date to see Dew. Tay says he’ll set up as soon as possible which makes poor Earth choke on his drink again.

Tay tells New that he needs to attend the Founding Anniversary Ceremony as Grandpa wants to see him, and that's the only day Tay can make time. New tries to make excuses to get out of it but Tay shoots down every excuse and tells him that he needs to pay the penalty fee for getting out of it. New ends up having to go as he doesn't have enough funds. Tay is upset so he cleans Earth's place again. He finds a package for Mix, and Earth finally tells him that that's who his new neighbor is. Earth admits that he feels bad for New as Tay was the one who suggested this when he knew was a stand-in for someone else and he even made it sound like a threat. He's sure that New had to hide that he worked for their company. Earth says perhaps he can forgive him for now, as he's a good employee. Tay complains that New has his crush of seven years working for the company he works at. Tay then claims that he's bringing all of his personal issues into work. Earth looks at him and then says he seems to lose his calmness when New's involved. Tay says that nobody else has made him so angry before.
