Yoon-Gi and Ho-Seok shared a kiss so full of emotion that it seemed to last forever. Their lips met softly, but the smile that tugged at both of their mouths made the kiss feel more like an expression of pure happiness than a simple gesture of affection. The air between them was thick with love and joy, and it felt like nothing else existed in that moment. Yoon-Gi’s hand gently slid beneath Ho-Seok’s shirt, fingertips brushing the almost round curve of his stomach. It was a touch full of tenderness, a silent acknowledgment of the new life that had already begun to change their world in the most wonderful way.
“I’m so happy, baby,” Yoon-Gi whispered, breaking the kiss just enough to press his lips to Ho-Seok’s forehead. His words were quiet, but they were filled with a deep, undeniable truth. He couldn’t contain the joy that seemed to fill every inch of his body, especially now that they were about to begin this new chapter together—married in a month, and parents to be.
“Me too, hyung,” Ho-Seok replied softly, his voice carrying the same warmth. His hands moved up to Yoon-Gi’s shoulders, pulling him back into another kiss, this time slower, savoring the moment. In the midst of their happiness, the overwhelming love they had for each other and their unborn child was something they could hardly believe. A little over a month, and they would be husbands, starting their family together.
Yoon-Gi smiled, his heart full, and he helped Ho-Seok sit down gently on the bed. He kneeled in front of him, positioning himself between Ho-Seok’s legs. His hands were steady as he lightly rested his forehead against Ho-Seok’s belly, taking in the sensation of this new life growing inside of him. He couldn’t help but close his eyes, lost in the moment. There was something so beautiful and peaceful about it—something that felt like everything was right in the world.
“Hey, baby,” Yoon-Gi whispered to their unborn child, his voice soft and full of love. “Thank you for coming into our lives. The moment you arrived, everything seemed easier. You’ve brought us closer, made us braver. Because of you, we were able to be open with the people we love. Thank you, sweetheart. Appa promises he’ll be the best father for you.”
Ho-Seok’s eyes shimmered with emotion as he looked down at Yoon-Gi. There was no need for words to describe the way his heart swelled. The love Yoon-Gi had for him, for their baby, was more than enough to fill him with gratitude and warmth. Despite the surprise of the pregnancy, they both knew that this baby, their miracle, was something they’d never regret. It was an unexpected gift that had already changed their lives for the better.
Ho-Seok chuckled softly, wiping a tear from his eye as he reached down to ruffle Yoon-Gi’s hair. “Stop making me emotional, hyung,” he said, though his voice betrayed him—full of affection and tenderness. “I’m getting hungry.”
Yoon-Gi laughed lightly, his eyes bright as he stood and wiped away the last of his own tears. He smiled down at Ho-Seok, his heart still racing with the love he felt for him. “Sorry, baby,” he said, his voice full of playfulness. “But I’m pretty sure we just ate an hour ago.”
Ho-Seok’s cheeks turned pink, and he pouted, his lips sticking out in a way that was almost too cute to resist. “Are you calling me fat?” he asked, trying to sound indignant, but his eyes were filled with mischief.
Yoon-Gi quickly shook his head, hands reaching to gently hold Ho-Seok’s arms. “No, no, I would never,” he said with urgency, not wanting to upset him. “You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen. I love you, and whatever my prince wants to eat, I’ll make it for him.”
Ho-Seok’s pout melted into a grin, his eyes lighting up at Yoon-Gi’s words. “Tteokbokki, bulgogi, fish fries, jjajangmyeon,” he listed in excitement, already imagining the delicious spread he wanted to devour. His hand instinctively rested on his stomach, a soft caress over his bump.
Yoon-Gi blinked, slightly taken aback by the long list, but the love for Ho-Seok in his heart was strong. “Okay, my sweetheart,” he said, smiling with both affection and a touch of disbelief. “I’ll make it all for you. Wait here.”
Before walking to the kitchen, Yoon-Gi leaned down to give Ho-Seok one more kiss, a kiss that was deep and full of promise. It was a simple, quiet moment, but the affection they shared spoke volumes. “I’ll be back soon,” Yoon-Gi said softly before heading to the kitchen, ready to make everything Ho-Seok had requested.
Ho-Seok smiled, watching him go, his heart full as he settled back onto the bed. He reached for his tab, opening Netflix as he browsed through options for something to watch while he waited. His hand moved over his belly absentmindedly, as his thoughts drifted toward the future. In just a few weeks, he would marry Yoon-Gi. In just a few months, they would be parents. He was filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude, knowing that, no matter what, they would be in this together—every step of the way.
He couldn’t help but smile, feeling the quiet thrill of everything that was yet to come. With Yoon-Gi by his side, life was more than just good—it was perfect.
