CHAPTER 9

Past Time:

The members hurriedly entered the hospital as their gaze fell on Taehyung who was sitting at the corner of the floor, his head buried in his knees as he was hugging himself while crying.

“Taehyung..” Jimin called out softly as he approached his friend and bent down to his level, the younger already had tears in his eyes as he was sniffing badly and as soon as he saw his bestfriend, he hugged him tightly while burying his face in the crook of the elder's neck.

“What happened?” Suga asked while looking at Taehyung, definitely he wanted answers and he was in no mood for any emotional breakdown even if he's internally a mess, he wouldn't show it to anyone..

Not even himself.

Taehyung looks up at Suga with his teary red eyes as he manages to stand up, “H-hyung and I were coming back a-after eating noodles from Japanese food truck..” Taehyung started, his voice cracking in between as the memories flooded his mind.

Suga was silent, his fists clenched, he knew something was up... His mind said Jin had got into a terrible accident but his heart didn't want to believe it. He wanted to know Jin was okay.. and only Taehyung could confirm it.

“A-and.. a-and...”

“Just spit it out Taehyung..” Suga's voice came out harsher than expected as the younger flinched badly as he started to ramble in fear and nervousness..

“R-road... J-Jin Hyung pushed me out of the road and h-he himself got hit by a truck... I-i wanted to-” before Taehyung could explain his side Suga grabbed him by his collar and landed a solid punch on Taehyung's jaws as the younger hissed in pain, his lips slightly bleeding due to the impact.

“H-hyu-”

“DO NOT CALL ME THAT!” Suga yelled as Taehyung flinched real bad as he looks at Suga with fear, this was the very first time he had seen the elder so furious and loosing his calm.

Suga wouldn't easily loose his calm, infact he was one of the most calmest member of the BTS but today, it doesn't seem like it.

Jungkook broke down in tears as he slid down the wall while burying his face in his palms as Namjoon just sat beside the younger and pulled him in his embrace while gently pecking his hair.

“Everything will be alright...” he assured as the younger hugged Namjoon as if his life depends on it whereas Hoseok was the one to calm Suga down, reassuring him that everything would be ok.

None of the members glanced at Taehyung, they didn't even bother to ask him if he was ok or not. Jimin's gaze would occasionally fall on Taehyung and sometimes their eyes met.

'You ok?' Jimin asked in sign language to Taehyung because the two of them were pretty good at that as Taehyung shook his head as tears welled up in his eyes.

'do I look ok?'

Jimin's heart shattered at the response as he looks away, he wanted to run to Taehyung and hug him tight and never let him go but he couldn't.. if he did, he knew Suga would hate him for life.

He was too scared of that...

Hours passed and finally the doctor came out of the OT as Namjoon rushed towards the doctor as he calmly asks, “How is he doctor?” he asked as the doctor, Woo Jin removes his mask and looks at him.

“The patient bore severe injuries, he was in a very drastic situation... thought saving him was nearly impossible but well... he's in a coma now but the thing is.. the possibility of him waking up is almost...none.” he said as the members gasped and Jungkook lost his mind.

He went towards Taehyung and grabbed him harshly by his wrist as the elder winced in pain. He started to drag Taehyung outside the hospital as the members stare at their Maknae in shock and disbelief.

Media, reporters, press everyone had gathered outside the hospital as Jungkook dragged Taehyung towards them and harshly pushed him in the front as everyone snapped pictures of Taehyung.

“You people want to know what happened?” Jungkook asked furiously as the whole press went silent looking at the angry golden Maknae for the first time in their life.

“HIS carelessness lead to Jin Hyung being in Coma.. THIS PERSON RIGHT HERE... HE RUINED BTS!” Jungkook yelled as the press were recording his words as Taehyung was just looking down while tears slipped from his eyes.

They didn't give him a chance to explain himself....

And then after listening to Jungkook, the media started to say hateful words to Taehyung, ask him questions, called him a murderer as Jungkook furiously goes inside the hospital... leaving his Hyung like he dumped a garbage in a bin..

That day, Taehyung lost everything...
