It has been some years since Rhaegar took the throne, Rhaegar placed peace around all of the kingdom's.

To fix what his father did to the other kingdom's, and for a while everyone was pleased of the outcome. But soon the feeling faded.

The people wanted something new and they were able to see the Targaryen dynasty was nothing without dragons. But the people needed to wait to see who will challenge the royal family.

King Rhaegar Targaryen named Jon Arryn as his hand, with the help of Jon Arryn the realm thrived. Up until Jon Arryn died from a fever shocking the people and Rhaegar himself.

Forcing king Rhaegar to chose another hand to help him rule. The nobles of his court said that Lord Tywin Lannister would be a good fit but the queen suggested someone else.

She bought Lord Eddard Stark, that it will be good to have some northern leadership's. Rhaegar like the offer from his wife, it was settled.

Rhaegar ordered his people to prepare everything to make their way to the north. The king and the queen along with their children and the royal court started to make their way to the north.

Meanwhile in the north Eddard Stark along with Cersei were together with their youngest daughter.

Marrying Cersei Lannister really helped the north, the Lannister money transformed the castle larger and more better. Cersei made Winter fell her home and she was proud of her home but deep down she wants more.

"My love, I did to speak with you". Cersei said looking at Eddard.

Alysanne went off with her septa so her parents could speak. For years cersei spoke with her husband about the throne, that it was time for the Targaryen dynasty to end.

Eddard always said no because he could not kill children but the royal children are no longer children as Cersei pointed it out.

"Look at this my love, the north will always be our home but we have the men and the power to take the throne. You and I can be King and Queen, what the realm needs more than ever. They are weak, they have no dragon's, we can do this my love". Cersei said

Eddard knew that his wife was right. And he knew that it was time to act. Even though he is quiet he had heard for years that people want someone else on the throne. That all were tired of the Targaryen's.

"What of your brother, he is married to Princess Daenerys Targaryen". Eddard asked his wife

"I have gotten letters from him telling what I always known, Daenerys Targaryen is more than fine on what ever happens". Cersei said

There was a pause between them both until that started to make their way back into the castle. That night Eddard thought about what his wife said and to him it made since.

In the morning Eddard got up to write his friend and brother in law about certain situations.

That if he was going to do this then he will need support on this. Later in the day Eddard got an letter coming from king's landing. Letting him know that the king and the court were coming.

He immediately went to Cersei showing her the letter, both slightly worried but they remained calm. This will just increase their plan a bit.

After a while the castle was ready for a royal visit, King Rhaegar Targaryen along with his family made it to the north but there was another noble family already in Winterfell.

Lord Robert Baratheon made it to Winter fell before the king did. It was an interesting meeting between the families.

Cersei spoke to her husband on what he needed to do in this. King Rhaegar spoke to Eddard, letting him know that he wanted him to be the hand of the king.

Eddard did not wanted it but again he played along with it. Eddard agreed on the terms of Rhaegar but not alone, Cersei with some of their children were coming to king's landing.

The journey was long but in the end it will be worth it for them. Once they got to king's landing Cersei and Eddard gave each other a look that spoke volume.

Eddard again played his part as the new hand of the king as Cersei did her thing. Both of them were waiting for the right moment to strike, and that was Cersei's brother and father as Eddard waited for Robert Baratheon.

It took a month to strike but it worked. Lord Jaime Lannister came into the capital, it just looked like a brother seeing his sister but that was not the case. Lord Tywin Lannister was there as well, the armies of Robert Baratheon were in the king's woods just waiting.

But he was not the only army, the armies of Lannister, Stark and Baratheon were about to attack king's landing. When they did attack the capital, Rhaegar Targaryen was surprised at the outcome that surrounded him.

There was nothing that he could do about it because he has no dragons. The only thing that he could do was to fight, and hope that his family survives.

With his own army went out to fight, but that was not enough. King Rhaegar Targaryen was slain on the battle field, letting king's landing being sacked.

The royal family was taken as hostages before being executed, because it needed be done. Out with the old so the new can came in.

For Robert Baratheon, he was loving it. He loved to fight in battle. Cersei got want she wanted, she became the new queen of the seven kingdoms. But importantly she had her husband by her side.

Both Eddard and Cersei were crowned the new king and Queen of the seven kingdoms a day after the sacking of king's landing.
