We soared above the clouds. Hagrid said we were going to London. That pig often went there to get new clothes and toys and whatnot, of course they never took me. Why would they ever take me there.

Honestly, I did always want to go there, and once I made the grave mistake of asking them to take me along. Pig started to laugh, aunt glared at me in silence and uncle became very angry.

TW THE FOLLOWING PARA CONTAINS ABUSE*

He grabbed me by the collar and threw me into a room, then locked the door behind him. He beat me with a thin bamboo stick on the back of my legs. While beating me, he kept saying that freaks shouldn't ever be allowed outside. He hit me till he drew blood out. I was six and that scared me so much that I never ever asked to go out ever again.

End of abuse*

So the trip to the island shack, most of which I was in the boot of the car, that was my first ever trip outside of the house, and now I was going to a boarding school. I get to stay there, away from these hellish people. I'll get food every single day and all three meals. Just the thought of it  made me happy.

I enjoy the air rushing around me, this is freedom. "We are here." said Hagrid. It's still very dark. We landed in the secluded area before normally driving to a dark barely visible pub and inn, The Leaky Cauldron. Its around 1 AM now. And this place was at it's peak, there were people chatting and drinking. It gave good vibes.

Lots of people but not too many. But still I have never been to a place filled with any amount of people. It's kind of terrifying. I don't really like people mainly because of those dumb people I lived with. As I followed Hagrid I felt stares on my forehead and I wanted to tell them to look the fuck away. It was making me feel self conscious.

"Harry Potter?" said one of the people staring at me. At that all the heads snapped towards me. The hell is going on?

"Oh no I didn't think people would recognise you so quickly. Harry, I forgot to tell you, You are quite famous in the wizarding world world. The night your parents died....you kind of made he who should not be named disappear. So be prepared. Most of the wizarding world thinks of you as their saviour."said Hagrid. That's all he could say before people started coming to me, thanking me, applauding me, shaking my hand and some even bowed to me. This is so weird.

I was shocked to see this. Me. Famous. But I was always a nobody, nothing and now all this. This is very overwhelming. Hagrid notices this and he puts his arms around my shoulders and quickly guides me to the back.

"Oh professor Quriell, you are here too. Harry he is one of your professors who will be teaching you this year. Oh ok, what should I say? Should I say good morning or good night. I ended up saying Hello Sir.

He just nodded looking a little dazed as he scanned my face, then my arms, his eyes widen at the scars. He looked at Hagrid, then back at me. He searched inside the pouch he was carrying and held out a salve for me. All this soundlessly. I looked at Hagrid, he nodded so I took the salve, thanking him.

As we stood before a brick wall. Hagrid says "He usually stutters and stammers a lot. This was weird. Anyways Harry, this is the entrance to Diagon Alley."

"But hagrid that's a brick wall. It's rock solid." I said.

"Oh, I mean look" He taps a pattern on the wall and it opens. Like open says open, okay, I wasn't expecting that. It is night time. So all the shops were closed. Nothing was much to see. "Come on Harry, we will stay at the inn for now get some sleep. Wait till morning comes, you will love it. This place looks very different in the morning. We have a busy day tomorrow. So do try to get some sleep." I nodded back at him.
