At the beginning of the year I got to choose 3 electives that I wanted to do. My first choice elective was Pottery. When I read the description it sounded fun. Also my best friend said she was going to sign up, so I signed up. My second choice was Cooking. I am a chef at home and one day I hope to cook on the tv show Top Chef. When I found out my crush was going to sign up I was overjoyed. My third choice was P.E. or Physical Education. I didn't really want to do PE, but I also wasn't sure how I was going to get my PE credit.
When I found out my elective was Cooking, I was very ecstatic. I texted my friend and she told me how sad she was. She wanted us to be pottery buddies. I felt bad that I wasn't in the class with her but got over it real quick. Then when school started I saw my crush, Nick, walk into the classroom. I smile at him and he walks over to me.
"Is this seat taken?" He asks
"Nope. Do you want to sit down?" I look at him.
"Sure. I need to sit." He said before whispering, "that's why I asked you if this seat was taken."
I gush and smile as I take out my pencil.
"Hey. Do you have an extra pencil?" He asks me.
"Ya, I think so. Let me check." I dig around in my bag until I find my pencil case. "Here you go." I hand him the extra pencil.
The bell rings and the teachers starts the lesson.
"First lets get to know one another. I'm Mr. Ross. You two in the back. Name and next time don't let me catch you talking."
"I'm Ally." I smile at the class, before sitting backed as Nick stands up.
"Hello. I'm Nick. Sorry for talking. Ally was giving me a pencil."
"Thank you both and Nick, NO EXCUSES!" Mr. Ross yell at him. I look at him apologetic.
Then I whisper a "thanks" to Nick as he sits back down.
"One quick thing before I call on someone else to speak. The stove tops and ovens in the back of the room will be used for cooking test, so please don't touch them." Mr. Ross says while looking at the students in the back messing around with the stove tops.
