Edd Gould couldn't believe what his eyes were seeing.
And he and his friends had seen a lot in his 22 years of living.
He and his friends Tom and Matt were now swept into a fantasy-like world, complete from a rpg video game. And they even had the outfits and roles to fit the parts.
Mostly.
They all still had their hoodies but it somehow blended into their new role in this world.
Tom just looked over to edd in utter amazement.
"How.. How did this happen?!"
Edd looked down to the book in his hands.
"It Must be..."
Edd closed his eyes as he tried to recall what just happened over the past few moments.
They were at home. Check.
Tord had come over with the book from the library called "hero's from the finalworld."
Edds eyes flew open at this.
"Tord!"
His oldest friend was now missing.
They must have gotten mixed up from each other when they got zapped here by the weird book..
Edd looked at it closely before setting it in his newfound satchel bag.
It was a brown leather side-bag with blue and green jewels encrusted in its opening flap.
Edd looked over to tom who was now overlooking his newfound role and appearance in this world.
He seemed to hate it.
"WHAT AM I!"
He pulled on his new purplish-alien like ears and saw he now had dark sharp claws and a tail with a blue fluff on the end.
He also had blue highlights on the tips of his hair spikes.
Matt just looked at him and laughed,
"Umm. a funny orc is what you look like!"
He giggled some more.
Tom just frowned and crossed his arms.
"Speak for yourself superman!"
Matt stopped laughing and pulled out his hand mirror that he miraculously had,
And squeaked.
Tom nodded.
"Yes, horrible I know,"
Matt smiled. "I'm gorgeous!"
Tom frowned. "You're an idiot."
Edd just looked at the two with a look of concern.
"GUYS! Stop roasting each others looks, we have to find tord! He might be lost!"
Tom just frowned then smiled.
"Do we have to?"
He said sarcasticly.
Edd just gave him the look.
"Ok.." matt and tom just started walking.
Edd smiled.
"Lets look for shelter, it looks stormy!"
Tom frowned.
Matt piped up. "Why do rpg's always have to be stormy on the first level!"
Tom just smiled.
"I vote we leave Matt out in the rain!" Matt looked genuinely concerned about this.
Edd just laughed.
"We're not doing that."
Suddenly, the rain poured down like thunder.
"EW!"
Tom shouted.
Furiously shaking off his ears and tail.
Matt laughed.
"Aww, kitty doesn't like his tail wet!"
Edd just sighed.
I wish there was a way to help them.. He thought.
When suddenly.
He felt something on his back.
Tom stopped shaking and Matt looked up in awe.
"Umm, edd?"
Edd looked around.
"Hmm?" he just sat still for a moment until he realized he had something on his back.
"WINGS!"
