The gang just sheltered from the storm under a nearby tree for the night. Tom kept his tail dry under edd's wings.
"Much appreciated edd."
Edd just nodded.
Tom just frowned and so did matt.
Matt smiled.
"We'll all find tord soon, I promise!" matt said grinning.
Tom just chuckled. We hope.. He thought.
Edd just sat looking at a far off village over a few fields of grass yonder.
Edd then spoke.
"Why do you think the book brought us here?"
He asked the two guys.
Tom just said. "Uhhhh,"
And Matt had no answer.
Edd just frowned at this.
After a long hour of trying to start a fire, and failing miserably. The crew went to sleep.
The next morning.
Tom awoke first and saw edd was gone.
But there was a white feather where he was sleeping.
He immediately rushed to awake matt.
"Dude, get up, edd's gone!'
matt , who had slept in his mask and cape, (apparently he cant take it off), Got up in a tizzy.
"Who, wa, AHH!" he saw tom and remembered the fantasy world and freaked out.
"Oh yeah, superhero costume.." Matt said.
Tom nodded and looked to the sunny skys to see edd flying around the field scouting for something.
Tom walked out into the grassy field with the breeze blowing on his tail fur, he shouted. "WHA ARE YOU DOING!?"
Edd seemed to hear this and waved.
Then began to divebomb for the ground.
Tom stood back and matt groggily came over to his side.
Edd landed on the ground swiftly and smiled with a thumbs up.
Matt clapped his hands.
Tom just frowned.
"We should avoid attention if at all possible. Were not from this world! Remember!"
Edd smiled. "I know, I was scouting for help, maybe a familiar face?"
Tom just facepalmed.
He really wants to get tord back..
Edd just stopped smiling. Then grinned quickly.
"BUUUT! There's a village nearby! We can go over and-"
Tom stopped edd dead in his sentence. Before gesturing to his monster-like shape.
Edd smiled with a huge smile. "I have you covered!"
He pulled a cloak big enough for Tom outta his side bag and threw it onto his head.
Tom just raised a hand.
"...Where, Where did you?"
Edd talked over him.
"I found it in the field!"
Matt just grinned, "now we can go?!"
Edd nodded. "Now we may go!"
