Katsuki Bakugo. A damn curse. A waste of potential if you asked a certain young woman. Bakugo was an infamous name that was ushered around middle school halls either like a praise or a condemnation, both carrying the weight of an envious admiration. He was strong, and as sharp as a tac. It was a truth that no one could deny. Besides two people that begrudgingly shared the school with him, that is.

Tsuki felt fire swirling in her lungs every time she had to be around the blond bastard. When she inevitably passed Bakugo in the school hallways, they would both silently challenge each other. His crimson glare would sear into her emerald eyes, a teasing glint in them. It was as if he was begging her to do something foolish. Tsuki, in return, would pierce daggers through him with a violent promise to rip his jugular out. This wasn't befitting of a future hero, but Tsuki could never find herself viewing Bakugo as anyone worth saving, anyway.

Today was no different, and their momentary hallway meeting was cut by the girl, tearing her gaze away to face the tile floor instead, puffing black smoke from her flared nostrils. Dying embers eventually suffocate in her chest, the section of flesh below her throat warm to the touch.

'Damn brat.' Tsuki thought, popping a couple tums in her hand before roughly shoving the container back into her backpack like it was the one pissing her off. Having a fire in her chest for too long caused her a minor case of heartburn, but right now, crushing the antacid tablets under her teeth helped more so than the actual benefits.

She made her way into her next class, roughly slinging her poor bag on the back of her chair as she plopped down into the seat, huffing. Multiple attempts to avoid confrontation with Katsuki had been made throughout her whole childhood. And it worked, sometimes. This avoidance was only successful due to her pleading younger brother, who just wanted her to ignore the blond entirely.

Izuku was weird when it came to 'Kacchan'. Tsuki huffed again just thinking about the endearing nickname. Bakugo didn't deserve that name. Her twin brother had always made excuses for the blond gremlin, which was another thing that pissed Tsuki off. According to Tsuki, her twin's behavior towards the blond, along with the dismissive attitude he gave while talking about what the blond put him through, was only feeding  Bakugo's ego. Katsuki Bakugo was nothing but a bully, one consistently praised throughout his life. That inflated ego of his was fragile, like a cracked wine glass that was ready to burst if anymore pressure was put upon it. One day, Tsuki thought, that glass was going to burst like a molotov, and hurt everyone around Katsuki for the last time, including himself. She imagined that she would relish in the day that it finally came to be.

Post classes, Tsuki made her way to Izuku's classroom to fulfill their daily ritual of walking together until she parted ways, heading to the local gym. Whimpers could be heard as she came closer towards the classroom's door, along with some chuckling and crackling sounds, similar to fire crackers. It was all too familiar.

With a sigh, Tsuki reached the door, extending her arm to grab the handle, ready to start a commotion on her brother's behalf. If Izuku wouldn't stand up for himself, she would by kicking a certain someone's teeth out. A familiar voice made its way to Tsuki's ears, and what it demanded made her blood boil.

"Take a swan dive off the roof, and pray you get a quirk in your next life." The slamming of the classroom's door rang throughout the hall, and Bakugo, the obviously heated blond, glared down at the greenette like she was a speck of dirt.

"Outta my way, fucking dork." He reprimanded, harshly shoving past the girl, followed by two goons who instead began to ease their way around her.

"Katsuki!" Tsuki yelled at the boy, her body whipping around before she could comprehend her surroundings and she grabbed a fistful of the blond's hair, roughly pulling his face to slam it against the nearest wall. Bone smacking against the brick wall made a crisp sound. "Say that again, I dare you." Eyes narrowing, Tsuki glared at him. It wasn't a warning, it was a threat.
