"You see, what truly happened is that I have known her for a year before we got together, we were pretty close friends actually. She great, but a bit weird, sometimes she had episodes when she would start screaming at slightest irritation, because of that everyone avoided her. I realize its not her fault for that, she was sick, so I kept being her friend.
She was actually pretty cool herself, she was really into movies and games I like to play. So we would go to arcades sometimes. One day, she asked me if I want to be her boyfriend, to which I obviously said yes.
About a week after we got together, she began getting even stronger episodes, now starting to throw things around and once she even hit me. She felt really bad, and apologized. I didn't get mad at her, I knew she needed patience.
I would go to psychiatrics with her, to make her feel safer and more relaxed. Which doctor said actually helps, ever since I started coming with her, she sits more peacefully on her chair, and doesn't scream nearly as much. He also told me that one time, she was talking about me with him. She said that thing that relaxes her the most is our game night when we go to the arcades.
After about two months in our relationship, she got to me and said she doesn't want to be with me anymore, she refused to tell me why. I assumed she had best intentions, maybe she doesn't want to hurt me or something."
"That is pretty sad story, I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. So where is she now?"
"Married"
"What?"
"Two days after we broke up, I saw her with another guy in the store... I assumed he was her brother or friend but just last week I heard that she got married to him this summer. Sometimes I wonder what exactly happened between us, why did she leave but its okay, I guess It was just not meant to be"
"That is a really sad story... I feel bad for asking"
"It's okay, it's kind of a funny story because something similar happened to me even before that"
"Really? It's okay you don't have to remember all that now, I'm sorry for asking"
"No, it's okay, don't worry, its kind of the same story but we weren't together, she said she wanted more space from me like we were together, but I realized more space she took, away from me, she was just getting closer to another guy. So, at some point she stopped talking to me and that how it ended. Sometimes I think its my fate you know, to die alone"
"No, don't talk like that, you can't die alone, you have me" She said with enthusiasm
"What? You? But..." Alexander was speechless. "So, do you want to be with me?" Alexander asked, and she answered but because of a train that passed, he couldn't hear what she said.
"What did she say, she is still talking, what is she saying, I can't hear her"
In that moment, the train passed and he can hear her again.
"...which is why I have to go to Germany, but I bought a new phone, do you want to chat with me through Mobile Network while I'm there? I hate being there, everyone is so rude and annoying."
"Yes sure, I would love to talk with you while you are away"
The two of them finished their coffee's and stood up, he paid, and they went outside.
"So where are you going now?" He asked
"Oh, I'm going to my friend's home, we are probably going to the party later, want to come?"
"I'm not really big on parties, I'm going to stay home tonight"
"Alright then, see you" She said with a smile, waving to him.
Constantine got home, and told his roommate everything that happened.
"What do you mean you don't know if you are together!" Igor said "You are the worst"
That night, Alexander was getting ready for bed, when his phone started ringing.
"It's Luna?" he said before picking up
"Hello, my name Anastasia, I am friend of Luna, seems like she is done for tonight can you come pick her up? She told me to call you to pick her up..."
Alexander picks up his keys and an extra jacket for her, sits in his car and arrives at the spot Anastasia told him to be, in just ten minutes.
Once he got there, he saw that Luna drank too much, and has fallen asleep. So he picks her up and puts her on the backseat and drives to his house.
"She told them to call me? And not her dad? I guess he will be mad to see her drunk or something, so I she should be good spending the night here" He said to himself
"Yes, that's what I was thinking exactly" She said, to which he laughed before bringing her in and putting her on his bed.
"I'm going to sleep in another room, feel like home and make yourself comfortable"
"Thank you" she said, "But before you go, can you hug me?"
After the hug, he went to bed happier than ever.
