Chapter 14: I Work You Senselessly, No Doubt.

Princeton POV

"Where are you going?" Aera says to me as I walk towards the door. I turn around and see that she's staring at me with lazy eyes. She's still asleep, and you can tell by her attitude. "Umm, back downstairs?" "No, you're not. Stay with me. I can't sleep." "I would, but my girlfriend is downstairs." "Fuck her. She boojhie as fuck." I pick her up and lay her down in the bed, and kiss her on both cheeks and the forehead. "Go to sleep." She mumbles to herself and rolls back over, and I walk out of the room. The movie is about over, and I go and plop down on the couch. I realize Jhane isn't next to me. "Hey, where did Nay go?" "Umm, She left, but she said to text her." Jada replies.

I pull out my phone and text Jhane.

TEXT CONVO

P- Hey, where'd you go?

J- I just wanted to go home.

P- Why? We were having fun!

J- You mean YOU were having fun. I wasn't, and you can tell I wasn't liked very much. -_-

P- Look, Nay. Just because not all of the girls liked you, doesn't mean that they can't warm up to you. You just came around today, and it might be pretty hard for the girls to just add someone into their group. It's okay.

J- No, it isn't! And don't think I don't see you and that little short stuff flirtin aroundlike noone's biz. You like her, don't you?

P- no! I don't! I like you, and you only.

CONVO OVER

I get a call on my phone and look at the caller I.D. It's Nae. "Bullshit Princeton! You know as much as I and everyone in the room know that you like her. I can tell. I don't even know why you like her. She doesn't even like you, she's just playing around with your feelings so you can fall for her." "Jhane, I think I'm going to hang up now. Please don't call this number back again, because we're through. If you can't trust me, then I can't trust this relationship." "Princeton-"

"No! Bye now." I hang up the phone and come back into the living room. I look over at Jada and call her. "JJ, what did you mean when you said be careful?" She smirked and look in my direction, "Oh. She gets really 'affectionate' when she's half asleep. Did she do anything to you?" "She tried to get me to lay with her. She said She couldn't sleep, but I told her my girlfriend was downstairs. She said fuck her, because she's ratchet." Everybody started snickering. "Well, okay? But did Jhane say anything before She left?" "Yeah. When you took Aera upstairs, She wrapped her legs around your back. I guess Jhane got jealous and She said 'that's enough. I'm gone.' Don't know why, though." Roc answered me.

"I don't know man. But her and I are done. She doesn't trust me, and I feel like a relationship without trust is a relationship not worth carrying through." "You can't blame her, though. You and Aera have something, but she just doesn't like you. There's noone that's more stubborn than Aera. She just doesn't want you to think anyone can fall for a guy immediately. And I'm pretty sure She won't be warming up to you anytime soon." I sigh and slump back on the couch, "I know. Tell me about it."

THE NEXT DAY

Normal POV

I wake up in the morning, and go downstairs to get something to eat. I go into the kitchen, and Kay is sitting there eating a bowl of cereal. "Hey, Kay." "Hey A.J. What's up?" "Nothing much, just got up. What are we doing today?" "Angie and Keisha have something planned for us, just unsure of what it is. So, what happened with Devin. Did he say anything about you and Princeton?"

I sigh and sit down with my Captain Crunch. The one with the colorful berry lookin things. "I just told him that I was just kidding about having a boyfriend, and then he tried to kiss me. I couldn't let him do that to his girlfriend so I kicked him out. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a girlfriend anymore, either. Man does that sound like De Ja Veu (Spelled it wrong, I think lol.)
